Great album, arrived eventually
Great album, purchased as a birthday gift, took a gamble on the shipping time, took about two weeks from the UK to USA (Nevada). Plays and sounds great!

Beautiful remaster of a beautiful album!
When I saw that there a pre order for this record, I didn't think much of it but still bought it since I had been looking for a good copy of it for while. I am more than amazed with the quality of both the pressing and the overall package. The colors on the record are gorgeous. The booklet is a cute detail and the download code is a nice touch. For $20, this is a no brainer.

PLANTASIA - MOOD ALTERING MUSIC FOR PLANT5S
This album is amazing and believe it or not, an amarylis plant that I had was not blooming when it should have been and I started playing this album a couple times a day and lo and behold, it started blooming. I know, sounds hard to believe, but it did. It was delivered to me with good packaging and on time. The music is beautiful and whimsical. I highly recommend this album or cd for anyone who is a lover of plants or just to have some beautiful music playing during the day.

Very Important Information Missing (Amazon Notified)
I already have original version of this album, but my nephew was wanting it for Christmas so I ordered it for him. I just had it delivered today to see that it is very heavy weighteds 2 lps (guessing 180 gram maybe 200) but it's also recorded in 45 RPM. It surely feels as heavy as my King Crimson 200 gram "Court of the Crimson King" album. This would be important information for anyone who doesn't have 45 rpm on their players. Even the "Editorial Review" doesn't let the buyer know that this is a 45 rpm or that it is a much heavier vinyl. It's a wonderful album, and thankfully, my nephew has the 45 rpm and will enjoy listening to a very high quality recording. I only gave it one less star because of the poor labeling by Amazon. FYI I sent notification to Amazon about the error.

My favorite album
I came across this album a few years ago and instantly fell in love. When I tried to find it in CD form, I was sad to find that didn't exist. One day I was watching a random video and the background music was Plantasia! I was so excited and decided to search again and found out it was in print!! I didn't even hesitate. I ordered it and listen to it constantly. The booklet has some history about the composer and the songs and even has a little spot in the back giving some advice for your plants which I think is a lovely touch.I saw some complaints about the sound being weird but I didn't notice anything like that. Perhaps those were outliers or maybe I just didn't notice, but that's something to keep in mind.

Great electronic classic given a a cheap low budget reissue
Well its great to finally have this on cd but the cd label did a rather cheap thrown together job on this cd- a cheap looking single booklet- with basic liner notes that most already know about- the music is great and its a shame that fifth dimension went the cheap route. A few years back the Omni Recording label was going to release Ataraxia/ black mass Lucifer on cd- but didn't! Its a shame as that label puts together great reissues with extensive liner notes -pics etc. I have the original vinyl which came with a cool booklet about plants and music etc but theres nothing here from that - surely the label could have added a few pages from this or pics etc.. even the cd seems thin and the graphics on it cheaply done. Now the music is top notch 70s electronic music composed by Garson in a brighter happier mode then his previous darker occult themed albums but it still sounds inventive playful and one of a kind..... so I have to recommend it without question.

Sacred Bones 2019 authorised reissue
*2019 Sacred Bones reissue*At long last, an authorised reissue of Mort Garson’s 1976 album. It's not from the master tapes but Sacred Bones Records have done a fantastic job mastering and cleaning up the sound from the best vinyl copy they could find. The sound quality really is fabulous.Recorded at the height of the USA’s The Secret Life of Plants boom, this album was originally only available to customers who bought a houseplant from Mother Earth in Los Angeles and the music is designed to help them grow. It’s a lovely free flowing mix of progressive, cosmic and playful Moog music and as the subtitle suggests, it's surprisingly warm and comforting, especially for electronic music. The CD booklet features a reproduction of the original Mother Earth’s Indoor Plant Care booklet. There have been a few shockingly poor unauthorised reissues over the years and Amazon are mixing up the reviews so that this review is also showing next to bootleg resissues - make sure you buy the Sacred Bones reissue !**It's 2020 and Sacred Bones have released a vinyl 45rpm "audiophile edition" of Plantasia, using the master tapes** Sacred Bones reissue

One of the best albums ever.
Absolutely amazing album. Probably one of the greatest albums I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to. It’s soothing, thought provoking and genuinely magical. I’d describe listening to Plantasia to be like going on a journey to a fantasy land, where everything is as perfect as can be.
