This is a fantastic entry level cologne, especially for the price. Probably one of the best values money can buy, right up there with Nautica Voyage. For the price you pay and the amount you get, it’s an easy 5 star product. I have owned many higher/slightly higher end colognes, (Gucci, YSL, Dior, Polo, Hugo Boss, CK, Tommy, etc.) and while this product doesn’t last quite as long as them, it smells absolutely amazing and gets many compliments. This being an EDT spray last for about 4 hours before it starts to fade and need reapplied. Most of the higher end colognes I buy are “EDP” or “Parfums” (higher concentrated than EDT’s, but also more expensive) and these typically last 10-24 hours before fading away which is what I ultimately need for my long days at work. This is probably my go to cologne for a quick trip to the store, the gym, to wear around the house, or to go anywhere where I will be back home in a few hours. Personally I find it isn’t quite strong or long lasting enough to wear out to the bar or nightclub, but I also have other options. With that being said- it has an amazing subtle, light, unique scent that is great for summer and I would recommend buying it. Also, product appears to be legit and not a knockoff (I watched a YouTube video to compare a real vs fake after receiving it)

I've been using this cologne almost exclusively, and essentially daily, for nearly 15 years , and I keep buying more. The value for the price can't be beat considering some alternatives are 2-8x the price, and many just don't have the low key but still noticeable scent this one does. Over the years I've gotten lots of compliments from women while wearing this (including married women, wanting to buy some for their husbands!). It is a relatively 'manly' scent but not overbearing, and it pairs well with any deodorant. Other colognes that I've tried are more 'in your face' and can get irritating for extended periods, whereas cool water kind of fades into the background and I never really notice I have it on. It smells clean and fresh and never irritates my sinuses like some other colognes I've tried. CW is quite popular, which isn't ideal since I like to keep things unique, but then again there's a reason for its popularity especially given its reliability and versatility. If you're on the fence between this and something like Aqua di gio, you really should at least give CW a try.

This product smells pretty good for a few minutes anyway. I'll never understand how and or why these manufacturers get away with charging SO much money for there products. For the price shouldn't the smell last at least 10-15 minutes

Some claims this is knock off brand. Not true. Mine is fine. I have Used cool water since it came out. Shipping was very easy and arrived unharmed.

Old school cologne still works for the honey

Let me start off by stating that neither I or my Partner are big Cologne Guys! Most colognes or Eau de Toillets we have tried in the past are really overpowering or smell like deodorant soap. As I get older, I find I am very repulsed by really strong cologne on anyone. "Assault to the Senses", as I refer to it! Where your eyes burn, you can actually taste perfume or cologne in your throat and the lingering stench when a person who bathes in perfume walks by....Anyway! Davidoff Cool Water is an exception. We both like it because you can spray 2 shots in the morning and maybe another 2 in the evening and it is never "loud" or obnoxious a scent. It is very fresh and clean yet still masculine. People comment constantly, "You smell nice! What is that?" Since we both wear it nearly everyday, the smaller bottles can soon be depleted fairly rapidly. Cool Water is still fairly expensive to buy in department stores. Even at the Outlet Stores which are located near us here in the Desert don't sell it for THAT much cheaper. We ordered 2 of the 6.7 Oz bottles and were so pleased they were delivered with the Standard shipping in two days!! The spray bottles were packaged very well for shipping and arrived safe and sound. I will reorder from amazon.com when we start running low again!!

A very fresh perfumes, buy this if you like aromatic and fresh perfumes, not a very long lasting but the smell is amazing
