I bought the T800 specifically for its advertised 4G surveillance features and also purchased the required UP04 4G hardwire kit. Unfortunately, the 4G cloud service is unreliable and appears not to be operating correctly. Remote live viewing usually works, proving that the camera, hardwire kit and 4G connection are functioning. However, recorded event surveillance is extremely hit-and-miss. The app reports events such as “Suspicious persons detected” and correctly displays the time and vehicle location, but the associated video simply spins before showing “Video play error.” The Cloud Album lists numerous 30-second clips, yet most have blank grey thumbnails and cannot be viewed. The subscription arrangements have also changed without warning. My working annual subscription was cancelled during an apparent server migration, refunded, and replaced with different plans and pricing. Support has not provided a reliable resolution. The basic camera hardware may produce good local recordings, but the principal reason for buying the 4G equipment was to receive and remotely view surveillance footage while away from the vehicle. Alerts without playable video are of very limited use. If dependable 4G remote surveillance is important to you, I recommend buying another brand with an established and reliable cloud service. The hardware is expensive, the 4G kit costs extra, and the advertised cloud functionality cannot presently be relied upon.
