If you have struggled with all of the felt sliders from the hardware store, your sturggle are over. These work 100%. Get a package if the replace pads also. The most important thing for me was that the base screws into the legs of the chair. It feels solid and durable. The comes the gliders. The snap into the base. Another good fit. The pads are not felt. They say the pad is made in part of wool which gives more druability. I have had the pads on for 2 months. The bottoms are compresses, but they still work well. I will replace them sometime soon, just to check. IMPORTANT. If you get these, get some bee's wax (or similar). The pads work very well. But if the humidty gets too high, the pads will stick and not slide smoothly. Put a dab of the wax on the slider. The will prevent the pad from absorbing the moisture. Every few week, I put some more wax on the pads.

Excellent!! have low pile rug under dining table and the chairs have been very difficult to move as they are quite heavy.. had felt pads on previously as we have LVT throughout the downstairs.. now the ease of gliding in and out is so easy !!! It’s the small things in life that make you happy and as sad as it sounds these have 😃 I’m now actually looking around to see what else I can buy them for .

I worked only for 1 week for our wooden chairs.. waste of money for us.
