Is it natural or synthetic caffeine?

Hi Sykes We use synthetic caffeine for several reasons: 1) Synthetic caffeine is faster acting and has a more pronounced effect per gram than natural caffeine 2) It's possible to get 100% caffeine powder synthetically, but natural caffeine typically comes with more impurities. Both of these mean that we'd have to use more powder for the same effect, which would increase the bitterness and either mean that we had far harder chews or reduce the caffeine content per chew, neither of which are desirable. We're primarily a performance product designed to kick as fast as possible and cramming as much caffeine while still being tasty, so with that in mind synthetic was the clear winner. They may do. It depends how quickly you metabolise caffeine, as we all respond differently dependent on our DNA. If caffeine does these will too, typically takes four hours to leave the system, but it is very personal. Give them a go during the they and see how long you feel energised for.
