Will this amp run a 10 inch 400 rms at 2 ohms good? Or is it going to over power the sub?

There is no such thing as overpowering with electricity. Electricity is not pushed to whatever needs it, the object needing the power (in your case the sub) pulls what it needs from the amp. So having a bigger amp won't damage your system, having an amp that is too small will blow your sub tho

Amp says 1000w @4ohm.i have new alpine 1000w swt12s4 12" tube 300w rms will speaker handle amp. one speaker bridged

I run my 12" MTX Terminators, 400w rms and they put my 1000 watt crunch to work... the Amp overheats really bad and goes into protect mode every 20 minutes or so. Great Amp but for bridging some decent 12" Subwoofers I'd go for a stronger Amp.

Wire them series/parallel at 4ohms to the bridged/mono connections 500 watts x 1 shared, those Boss subs can take a lot, but 500 is enough to create some respectable bass, and your enclosure is ported, 500 is plenty, and the 2ohms may be louder at low volumes, but 4ohms has more of a quality/clean sound, but you could always go 250x2 at 2ohms parallel with stereo sound, if you need wiring help search "dvc subwoofer wiring options" and pick one you like.

This amplifier is not made for subwoofers. It runs on a 2 ohm circuit most subs run four or eight and lthis amplifier is just not capable of doing that and the sound comes out distorted with no thump. Probably good for regular speakers, but not subwoofers.

For the ratings and the price this is actually a perfect amp. As with all sound equipment you must know how to adjust the gains accordingly. The manual provides the basics steps to this, which for my set up was more than enough. It powers my two 12" woofers with awesome deep bass. I was a bit doubtful at first but
