It's Okay but Amazon Sells a Better One
This works okay but not the best in its class. The VIVOHOME 530 GPH Submersible Pond Filter Pump Fountain Kits with Sterilizer Suitable for Ponds of 920 Gallons, Water Pump Built In is much better.

Unimpressed at the performance
Emptied and cleaned the pond. Put the pump in and it worked ok. Overnight the nice trumpet effect moved from a nice large, round effect to a dribble. Cleaned the filters - which weren’t very dirty and it ran better - but not as good as day one. Doesn’t seem all that powerful. With out the trumpet attachment the water doesn’t shoot out - it mostly spills over from the tube extension. While I realize that the first day can be challenging for a pump if any debris is still floating, the fact that this is already diminished in just one day is not encouraging.A few days later I set up a return and got this product from Lowe’s and placed it in my existing filter box. It immediately had a better flow. The pump in this kit was made by the same company of the pump I was replacing (that lasted for over 5 years). Granted the flow will lessen over time, requiring a good rinsing of the filtered but my experiences with this product from Lowe’s are and have been very positive. I wasn’t able to add a comparison video but the trumpet effect of the smart pond was over twice that of the one from Amazon.

Not durable
Worked well, wasn’t as strong as we wanted then the power slowly started to dwindle. Our pond isn’t that big either (idk the actual size but we bought the strongest option). Thought maybe the filter clogged quickly but it wasn’t THAT dirty. After rinsing and inspecting we plugged it back in and it didn’t work at all. It’s a nice set up with everything included but doesn’t last. We’ve had other pumps that did way better with no filters around the pump. We just wanted cleaner water and switched to this option

Good filter.
This pond filter has been running over a month with no problem I am adding an external UV light to reduce algae.
