This kit is for making a super strong 5 gallon wash, using grains specifically grown, malted, and kilned for use in brewing (6 row malt). The grain weight in total is 10 pounds. This will get you a wash full of sugars for the yeast to make a potent brew for distilling. Additionally, the same corn mash can be used over again by adding more sugar and yeast to create a "sour mash" whiskey. If you are doing a moonshine recipe by adding additional white sugar, our kit will allow you to use the grains and provide the option to make two (2) separate 5 gallon batches if desired!!!!
