I've had a Waterman Hemisphere ballpoint for years, and when my daughter got a new job I wanted to give her a gift to celebrate so I gave her one. It's a great pen, an elegant fairly narrow size, writes great, looks great. Anyone who takes mine out of my study suffers my wrath. One thing I will say, is: check the price history. This pen seems to have wide swings in price. After I bought the one for my daughter I was looking for another one but the price had gone up significantly, only to come back down periodically. Buy low, sell high.

Good for a present. Priced right for something elegant to give as a graduation present.

It looks good and it seems to be well built. It's just somewhat too slim. I would use it to write some stuff on a paper, or write some things, but not to take notes in a class or a conference, for example.

This is a review of the Waterman Hemisphere stainless steel ballpoint pen w/ medium blue refill. What an excellent pen! I'm not particularly a fan of ballpoints. I usually write with rollerballs or fountain pens, but these Waterman ballpoints are just as smooth as some rollerballs are. I actually purchased five of these — gifts for my groomsmen. I decided to try one of them out before I gave it away, and I fell in love with it, so I bought another for myself. It has a solid weight to it — not too heavy and not too light. You can tell the materials are of quality and built to last. Of course, it is a Waterman. The box it comes in is beautiful and makes for perfect gift-giving. At $22, the price made it an irresistible buy.

Beautiful pen with a great ink flow. No blobs of ink are left behind when writing. Great thickness which makes writing a breeze.

Is niet afgewerkt met goud maar met roestvrij staal. Maar da is precies wat ik wilde. Staat gewoon verkeerd in de beschrijving.
