Ollny Christmas Fairy Lights Mains Powered 20m 200LED Outdoor String Remote

Lovely and bright but soft warm colour. Not harsh.

One of the features I wanted in LED christmas lights is the ability to reduce overall brightness, as this prolongs the lifetime. Many LED lights tend to be overdriven and after a year or so they usually suffer from noticeable reduced brightness. These warm white LED lights from Ollny have a remote which offers a range of functions, including 4 brightness settings and a variety of patterns. In the box you get the 10m string of 100 lights with transparent cable and holders, a plug-in power supply, and small remote control. The light string can be detached from the power supply via a screw locking plug. The remote comes supplied with a coin cell battery and just needs the protective insulation tab removing before use. The remote isn’t required unless you want to change patterns or brightness, or activate the built-in timer. There is also a button on the power supply that can power up and cycle the LED patterns. Holding the button activates the timer with different illuminated colours (red, green or blue) indicating the timer length. I connected the power supply to a smart plug switched socket and the lights do remember the last setting when powered off and back on at the mains. In operation I find the lowest brightness setting perfect for normal usage, so the LEDs should last a while. The remote also has a timer function with 3, 6 and 8 hour settings, brightness up and down (4 steps) and then a variety of functions including steady on, wave, sequential, slow glow, chasing flash, fade, twinkle, and a combination of all. You can also toggle the lights on or off from the remote. The remote is infrared so needs to be inline of sight with the power supply unit. There’s plenty of cable length with about 3m between the plug and first LED. The spacing between each LED is 10cm (there are 3 silver/transparent wires between each light). In summary I’m very impressed with the quality, features and price point of these lights. Overall a great product that brings some warm illumination to our houseplants.

My lights from another shop stopped working so I decided to try this brand after seeing the good reviews. Used them for about 3 days so far and so-far, so-good. I especially love the warm yellow ambience that come from these lights compared to my last ones. I also like that there is a remote that comes with it. I like that you only need to click once and it’s immediately on the constant flow lighting. My old ones had 7 flashing features, and you had to click 8 times to get to the steady lighting every time. I also like how these ones have brightening and dimming features.

I totally love these, had been given some and looked specifically for these. They glow softly even when off in the dark are so pretty

I appreciate all the different settings, but if you lose the remote you're mostly out of luck. You can turn it on and off and make it flash, but all the other controls are lost. The plug is a bit tall and I find when its turned "off" the LEDs still glow a little, so I usually turn the socket off Gets nice and dim though, good as an accent light.

Nice and Bright and also easy to unfurl no knots or tangles

Perfect for what I need, nice to be able to chose the brightness. Good length. I use to wrap on my stair banister and creates a cosy warm feel. Reasonably priced

Bought these for Christmas so they won't be used properly until then but I have tested them out and they are really nice. Nice warm white colour and not that blinding white. They can e dimed down with the remote. I haven't tried this feature yet but may e good for me as they were bought to go with some vintage look coloured lights so looking forward to trying that. They seem good quality so far. I am very happy with them.
