Picked this up for my trauma kit. Look like a nice, clotting gauze that would work well for a bleeding emergency. The Z fold is exactly what is needed to pack a wound. Luckily, I have not had the chance to use it, and hope I never will. However, I think it will work fine and is priced well when compared to some brand hemostatic products that are on the market. I gave it four stars as I have no way of confirming sterility, but this should not sway you in your purchase choice.

I have not used this yet, but the box came well packaged. The product is in a very tightly packaged vacuum sealed bag. Hopefully I will not have to use this, but it is nice knowing it is in my emergency kit for future use if it is needed. The directions on the back are detailed, so I have no worries about the ease of use. I am pretty confident because of the packaging, that this will be a quality product. If it is used in the future, I will update with my experience.

In recent years, I’ve become more aware of the importance of emergency preparedness, and I’ve been wanting to replace the old gauze in my first aid kit with something better. This gauze is non-allergenic, natural mineral based, and highly absorbent. It’s super light and thin, making it compact and quite portable. This product is just one piece of gauze, but at 59", it’s long. You can cut it to whatever size you need, or use it whole. It's critical to start the hemostatic process right away after a blood vessel injury, reduce the blood flow, and facilitate coagulation, especially in a situation where emergency help may not be readily available. It’s great to have this gauze in my first aid kit, and now I feel better about being more prepared. This product is professionally packaged. The lot number, manufacturing date, and expiration date are clearly marked.

The hemostatic gauze I've thankfully not used yet, but should preform well, if that day comes. The vacuum sealed bag it comes in is nice and thick, and very tightly vacuumed, which is a good sign. The bag however, is roughly 3-4 times the size of the gauze, and due to being decent quality and thick, not super easy to fold into a smaller shape. I was hoping to store this in a small first aid kit I use while hiking, so the size makes it ineligible for that, but it'll fit well in my larger car med kit.

This is nicely packaged hemostatic gauze, perfect to keep on hand for bigger emergencies. I've added this to my first aid kit and hope not to have to use it, but feel confident it will work well when the time arises. It is packaged nicely; vacuum sealed in a bag with the expiration date imprinted on it, and overall a very convenient size at almost 5 feet long, 3 inches wide. This is a good item to keep in any emergency kit of first aid kit to be prepared for emergencies, and overall I've very happy with this product knowing I have it should I need it.

It's hard to review a product like this because essentially you hope to never use it! As such, I have not used the product yet. I hope that I never have to. I bought it as many others have done, for emergencies. I like feeling prepared and this gauze is an essential part of my emergency kit for both home and for camping. I particularly like that this cause is hemostatic. In other words, it is infused with minerals that help clotting and as such should help a wound stop bleeding. I've used this kind of dressing in the past and found it to be extremely useful. I like that it's well sealed. Given that it may not get used for awhile. (hopefully never.) being well sealed gives me peace of mind that it will stay usable for an extended period of time.
