Caffe Mercanti ESE (Easy Serve Espresso) Oro Italian Coffee Pods in Filter Paper - 44mm, 150 Pods - Italiano Caffe Filter Paper - Non-GMO

This was my first experience with the Mercanti pods, which make a great espresso with a good amount of crema. The price is unbeatable and you don't have to sacrifice on quality. The espresso is smooth, full bodied (I prefer this stronger kind of espresso), and the flavor is excellent. I highly recommend the Mercanti pods. I should add that I'm picky about my espresso. I use the pods in 2 different espresso makers: Grace Espressione and Briel Multi-pro with equally good results.

I was skeptical about buying a product with only five reviews, even if they were all 5 stars, but I took a chance and I was rewarded for it. I’ve been using cafe barbone for the last six months and it’s been wonderful but when I went to buy more I found there were new ese pods on the market and this one had 5 stars and was cheaper for the same amount. This coffee is so amazing, it has a rich full flavor that shines in a latte instead of being buried and makes amazing americanos. Best of all it’s amazing all by itself.

Good flavor, but it takes two pods to get the strength strong enough to drink

I love my morning espresso! I didn't like the time I spent grinding, pressing, making & cleaning every cup! I went towhere I knew I could find a quality "pod" and I DID! I love everything about these, PERIOD! quick, clean, economicaland the flavor is FANTASTIC! I have at least 2 cups every single morning except when we are not at home! Most ofthe time I will use a 20 oz. cup, pour in flavored creamer, pour in espresso and top off with coffee and you have awonderful start of the day! I thought I'd try it once and I've now ordered twice and will continue to order! Any company that we have is also amazed at the "quality" of the taste, EVERY SINGLE TIME! try it, you'll love it!thank you, God bless!

I have been buying the iLilly expresso pods and they taste wonderful, but were getting expensive so I bought this looking for a less expensive alternative. I am not sure what is up with all of the positive reviews but this was the most bitter, stale tasting coffee I have ever put in my mouth.....AND it's non-returnable so now I am stuck with an entire box of these nasty pods.

Great espresso, but the pods are too big for my Delonghi Dedica!? I can barely tighten the portafilter and even if I can turn it to the right place (tentatively, I'm afraid to force it), its sputters and spits water all over and has a lot of trouble. I've found that if I wet the pod first that helps ever so slightly, but sadly I will not be ordering again lest I break my machine. I have used multiple brands of ese pods and have never had this issue :-(

Because Illy ese pod prices seem to fluctuate and rise more thangasoline prices, I decided to try Caffe Mercanti. I found that not only was the price right,the flavor was too. The pods appear to be thicker than the illy pods. More coffee? or More losely packed?Either way, to me, it is as robust as Illy Intenso, but noticably smoother.It was about half the price of Illy when Illy is found at it's max discounted price.I'm glad i ordered it.

I wanted to try a new brand of ESE pods. This had high reviews and raves. Nope. Just nope. These taste like straw or oats or something very overly roasted. No depth or complexity at all. Thought I'd give it at lest a few more tries, in case the first couple of shots were old or what have you. So, I've tried about 6 of them, and haven't had one yet that doesn't have the ick taste. And now I'm stuck with over a 100 of these that I won't use. Ick.

Two pods/shots make a surprisingly good coffee. Easily the best ESE pod I've had, and better than many freshly ground beans I've tried.

I bought these ESE pods to use with my new Mr. Coffee Espresso/Latte maker and have been very pleased with them. They make great tasting lattes and produce a very rich, smooth flavour. The best part is no need to deal with loose coffee grounds - I just put the used pod in my organics recycling. Nothing could be easier! Just be sure that your espresso maker is ESE pod compatible - I made sure to buy a model that is.

Love the taste of the coffee to make latte and expresso. The pods are not in plastic or metal but like a tea bag but much thicker.
