Pleasantly surprised by quality of box!

I love it

The actual build of this puzzle box is good, but the cheap poor quality lock and cheap poor quality key nearly failed on the first opening and I fully expect it to fail in the very near future.I bought this for my granddaughter and if I had left her to open it then it would be broken, I only managed to open it by wiggling the soft mild steel key as I slowly turned it.I don't think the price was cheap and I'm at a loss as why such a cheap lock would be used.Very disappointed

No instruction on how to get into the box, managed to find this on YouTube. Eventually managed to use the key but unable to open the lock. Very poor quality for £42.00. Item was returned.

This was a birthday gift for my wife. Was very disappointed when a plain varnished white wood box arrived as I ordered the green as that is her favourite colour.Otherwise would have been 5*s. The actual puzzle box is very well made with two other hidey holes as well as the main compartment. Two keys are supplied and work well but would have thought the lock & keys would have been better quality for the price. That and wrong colour is the reason for the 2*s
