BOOX Go 10.3 (グレー)

昨年Boox tab mini Cを使って良かったので、技術書/雑誌/PDFの閲覧用に本機を購入しました。 本機は10.3インチとしては非常に軽く実測377gでした。私は450gを超えると手に持ってすぐ重いと感じるのですが、本機は大丈夫。 短時間なら置かずに読める軽さです。 また、フロントライトはありませんが室内で困らない程度には明るいです。 そして、文字が綺麗に表示されます。kaleido3を採用したカラー表示機種では滲んで表示される電子書籍でも、本機はくっきり。体感的にはFHD表示ノートPCと3K,4K表示ノートPCほどの違いがあります。 大きい画面を探していてカラー表示にこだわらない場合はお勧めです。 ■BSR(Boox Super Refresh)搭載機との比較 本機はBSR非搭載です。搭載機とどんな差異があるか購入前の懸念点でした。 ・バッテリー持ちは本機の圧勝。 BSR搭載機のそれは液晶タブレットと同程度。それに対して本機は、アプリや多数の電子書籍をダウンロードしたセットアップ初日でさえ25％程度のみの減少。 ・画面更新はBSR搭載機が勝る。 BSR搭載機はキビキビ。比較すると本機はもっさり。 ・Bluetoothキーボードとの相性もBSR搭載機が勝る。 本機は入力文字の画面反映にタイムラグあり。 ■少し気になった点など ・画面の背景はグレーよりの乳白色。 Oasisよりは暗いが古紙感は薄い。OasisやPageの画面とは毛色が異なるのでご注意ください。 (アップした画像は本機とOasisです) ・microSDカードスロット無し。 ・web閲覧は問題なく可能。ただ、もう少し小さいサイズの方が取り回しがよい。 購入から1ヶ月でWeb閲覧には使わなくなる。 ・本体背面がツルツルで滑りやすい。 落とすと大変なので注意。 ※今回メーカーONYX社サイトからカバー付を直接購入しました。1ドル157円の円安のため関税等込み6.6万円…。壊れないことを願うばかりです。ちなみにONYX社と代理店のどちらから購入しても、多くの場合初期不良交換は有償になるらしいです。 ※描画モードやアニメーションフィルター値を調整することで画面の乱れなどが改善します。 ※残像は問題なし。上記の乱れた場合でも、その後は正常に表示され残像もほぼ無し。

色々探して辿りついた。目に優しい。描きやすい。絵も描ける。wifiも繋がる。電池持ちが良い。控えめに言っても最高の文房具と思われる。書いてる感じは動画にしてみた。

Kindleアプリで専門書の閲覧用に購入。確かに軽いし、無くてもいい機能をばっさり削ってとてもスッキリしています。 10.3インチでもとても軽く感じます。寝そべって片手で読書しても重さが気になりません。 日中の窓近くくらいの明るさなら本当にくっきり奇麗に見えます。半面、暗めの場所では、Kindle端末でフロントライトを消したときと大差ないグレー表示になります。夜はデスクライトがないと見づらく感じます。 Kindle端末は（最上位のScribeでも）蔵書が多いとライブラリがメモリに入りきらないためか表示されない本がありますが、BOOXではそんな制約もありません。ただ、メモリが4GBだとKindleアプリ起動直後の表示が少し待たされます。 コンセントはいいので、次機種でディスプレイとメモリを増強したモデルを期待します。 それと気になったのは、左手で縦持ちしたとき、裏面のちょうど指で支える辺り、筐体と内部のパーツとが当たっているようなコツコツ音がすることです。SKTさんを通じてメーカーに確認してもらいましたが、設計仕様らしいです。利用には支障ありませんが、完成度がもう一歩と感じました。

Remplit parfaitement ce qui est annoncé. Pas de mauvaise découverte. Au contraire, écriture et lecture fonctionnent très bien.

Great for writing and reading, a lot of useful features, a little complex to use, found it as a return and bought from Amazon for a great price - abt 250eu, definitely worth the price. My use centers around writing down exercises a lot of the time so it is useful in that regard, however due to its complexity sometimes becomes unwieldy (complex file management operations seem slow and difficult) - however the features more than make up for it (can connect it to any pc and transfer most of the data - data from online sources such as google drive are a bit difficult to transfer to other storage through tablet). Solving exercises by having two documents side to side can be done but I don't recommend it, best way I found is to use my pc for reading and the tablet for notes. Great for keeping notes on a pdf, can add blank pages in the middle of pdf files and can easily note on the pdfs as well. When taking notes on a pdf you may want to turn on continuous reading. I also started reading more (books in general) since I got the tablet (I have been using it for about a month). Only thing to note is that you may want to turn off "Enable to turn pages..." feature so that you can hold the tablet from any part of the surface. I mostly read epubs, since it is easy to change the settings on text size. I have not used DRM epubs yet. I haven't tried a different pen but this one seems fine enough, I have also bought extra boox tips but haven't used them yet - been shaving off the jagged edges of the tip with a cutter - very carefully. I simply have the constant fear of losing the pen despite the magnetic edges etc. I have also bought the boox cover for the tablet, which is held in place by magnets. I fear that it may not save the tablet from a drop because it doesn't cover all of the sides, just sticks to the front and back (with magnets). I carry the tablet around in my backpack which has a tablet pocket. Also note that out of the 64GB of secondary memory, only about 75-80% is available to the user. The lack of color doesn't bother me much, and I don't use third party apps or browse the internet a lot, although they do have some uses. Finally, you can connect it to your pc and write or use it for presentations using third party software but third party software isn't always reliable.

After one week of use, I am quite happy with the BOOX GO 10.3 e-reader. I was able to install Android applications, which allows me to access and read books from my library easily. The screen size is comfortable, and the device works well for reading and general use. The only downside — which I was aware of before buying — is that there is no built-in light. This means you cannot read in the dark. When I’m in bed, I have to turn on a night light, which ends up producing much more light than desired. Apart from this limitation, it is a good device and works as expected. I would recommend it, as long as you don’t need to read in complete darkness.
