I purchased this item to go on window in young daughter’s bedroom. I found the item easy to install. The instructions are simple to follow. It took less than 5 minutes to install. The size of the item works well with my windows but measure up before buying to ensure it will fit! Item feels decent quality and it has worked on my windows and allows the window to only open so far before then locking into place. If my daughter ever got close to the window, she wouldn’t be able to push it further open or disconnect the item in any way. It feels sturdy on the window frame. I do feel a bit safer knowing it’s on the window. This item protects one side of the window. You would need to purchase more to protect both sides. But, we just keep one side permanently locked and then open the protected side safely. The adhesion to window frame feels good and I don’t think my daughter would be able to pull it off. Not before us noticing anyway! Based on current use, it’s something I would recommend to other parents.

Broke within two months. Clip jammed and so couldn’t open/close the window

Excellent easy to assemble. Works on airing the house and keeping the cats from escaping.

I ordered these to prevent our cat from jumping out the windows on second and third floor of our town house. They work very well, I no longer have to keep the windows closed or on the latch, we have fresh air coming into the house without the worry of her falling out from height. These were easy to fit, no tools required which was another reason I ordered these ones...they have stuck very well, they are a tiny bit fiddly to unlock but I'm happy with that. I would recommend these.

Love the product. Brought two as I have 2 kittens and have been unable to have the windows open in this heat. Took 5 minutes to fit they open enough to let air circulate. Be careful with the profile of some windows. As although they may fit, it may not let you open them to the full extent.
