yummy!!!
I haven't eaten these cookies before, so was curious to try them. I was impressed by the packaging, they came in a nice luxury wrappings, individually wrapped. The cookies are larger than what I expected and one is already quite a portion and very filling. A thick layer of chocolate combined with a generous layer of sticky soft caramel. The meringue version is even sweeter but the meringue is very fine and better than any meringue I have had before. It's a wonderful addition to a good cup of coffee! I gifted some to my family because I wanted to share the goodness. I think they are on the expensive side but good value for my money, so I will buy them again :)

YUMMY
The Alfajores were quite tasty. It's a better value to order them online instead of through local Hispanic/Latin stores. I forgot the exact expiration date, but it was reasonable, and each snack was fresh. Both times I ordered, I got a surprise gift. Once, a bag and another time, a different type of Latin sweet treat. That was definitely nice of the sellers. The estimated delivery dates were accurate. Mine were shipped straight from Argentina, so I felt like I was getting the real deal. 10/10 would recommend.

¡Aye, que rico!
I have not had a Havanna alfajore in about 30 years. These are exactly as I remember: incredibly delicious. The cookie is tender, slightly crumbly, and the dulce de leche is sweet, but not overly so. This batch was so nice and fresh. They came in a vacuum sealed wrap inside the box, a big plus. I’m very impressed with the quality of these. I will order again.

ALFAJORES HAVANNA...SCRUMPTIOUS!
I have been eating Alfajores Havanna for over 40 years. Every time I have one it takes me back to the shores of Mar de Plata when I was a little boy. I remember, back then, Havanna had this promotional flying saucer/boat which they deployed along the shore and I thought it was the coolest thing ever! I also remember going to the Havanna store with my parents and watching the bakers making them. You could smell the melted chocolate a block away! You could buy them right out of the oven. There's nothing more Argentine than an alfajor (except for dulce de leche y mate). And there is no better alfajor than a Havanna alfajor. It kills me to pay $45.00 for a box here in the States but, that's what happens when you are 5,700 plus miles away! If you ever find yourself in Mardel (like the locals call it) find the store and indulge yourself. If you can't, then buy them from Amigo Foods. I have been buying Argentine foods from them for many years. They have a great customer service and they are very reliable. The picture depicts the alfajores bakery in Mar del Plata.

Packaging Quality
I've ordered this twice now. The first time the package was sealed really well, the cookies were in a factory sealed plastic. The second time the box was wrapped in bubble wrap and came a bit squished. The cookies are still great but the quality of the packaging (on arrival) is a bit of a gamble.

A little expensive.
I used to pay less for these goodies in Argentina, they are tasty and delicious though.
