Brother's a pharmacist and I can say the generics are heavily regulated and if it says it's the same thing and same dosage- it'll be exactly the same as the name brand. In the case of this, it's levocetirizine and the same dose ad Xyzal. It works the same and I'm thrilled with the price point. It doesn't seem to be life changing for dog allergies, but it helps. I use mine along with flonase generic from Amazon too. At these price points, it's definitely worth a shot to see if it helps you. Be patient and give it a good chance as medication takes a while to build up and work.

Why spend top dollar for the namebrand drug when you can get the generic for more than half off. Works just as well and I highly recommend.

The first night I took these I had horrible, dark, scary dreams all night. I haven't tried them again at night, but I recently started taking them in the morning before work, and it seems to make a little difference in my allergy symptoms, not a huge difference though, and I don't seem to be any more tired than normal. According to Google, bad dreams can be a side effect of Xyzal for some people, so if it happens to you, you at least know why

I’m allergic to cats, so we have 4 cats. I take these daily year round, and I haven’t had a sinus infection since starting a couple years ago. I used to get at least 1 or 2 a year. I also have bad dust and grass allergies, but this keeps those under control as well.
