I added this to my shower to make it easier to wash the dog. This hose doesn't leak and is very flexible. It works great for its intended purpose. Being that it is 10', it does hang down almost to the bottom of the tub, so if you want to take a bath, you have to place the hose outside the tub.

It is a little longer than I need, but I'm using it in a dog wash station, so the extra length aids in washing our dog from both sides, without moving him around.

Hose that comes with most convertible showers is too short, for washing dogs, etc. This is a quality item and just the right length.

This review is for Gallop Domain Shower Head Hose Replacement 118'', Extra Long 304 Stainless Steel Handheld Shower Hose Extension - Encrypted Anti-Tangle Flexible Chrome Connection Fit G 1/2" x G 1/2". I have a Waterpik brand shower head, but the original hose is only 5 feet long. I was looking for a longer hose to make it easier to clean the shower and rinse off the back wall. The length of this is perfect for what I was looking for. The overall quality is much better than I expected. It came with all the threads and connections protected with plastic pieces to keep them in good shape during shipping. It's very flexible and not stiff even though the metal and connections are heavy and sturdy. It came with included gaskets and filters, and I had no issues with leaks. The problem I had was that the tapered connection was too small to fit snugly in my Waterpick shower head handle holder. It would wobble and didn't feel secure, so I don't feel comfortable continuing to use it. I'm bummed because this seems very high quality and a great value. If it had fit I would have no hesitation about using it since it functions great.

Finally a extra long shower hose that is not subpar! We were running into a problem with a new design of shower hoses where the metal would never last longer than a month or two! Well this has been on my son shower for the last 2 and 1/2 months and worked perfectly! The extra links is great for a tall boy who is still growing. The durability and construction seem good and there has been no leaks as of yet. We will be buying again when our other showers needed. Packaging was well done and I do not see it breaking in transport. I received this product for review. I need a longer, flexible hose such as this as we have a pretty large shower in our main bathroom. This hose length, being 10 feet, will allow me to reach the back and sides of the shower with plenty of room to spare. The hose is said to be made of stainless steel, and it may very well be, but it is a bit shiny and the description mentions it being chrome as well. Either way, the hose is made well, it is solid and flexible, very easy to handle. The fittings are standard sized and should fit most every connection and shower heads out there. There is a roll of Teflon tape included but the fittings have rubber Orings in each end so the tape is really not needed as the Orings will seal the connections against leaks. Assembly is very simple, just remove your old hose or shower head, screw the end with the hex nut on the water supply end, then screw your shower head onto the end with the longer, smooth fitting. Just hand tighten the fittings, no tools really needed unless you have a slight leak, you could use a wrench if needed but do not over-tighten the fittings. The flow rate of the water is pretty good, the hose does not seem to restrict the flow at all. Be aware there are screens in each end of the hose and over time, sediment or other contaminants may build up, and restrict or stop the water flowing from the hose. If this happens, just remove the hose and clean the ends out and you're good to go. The hose has an inner, flexible hose and the metal, outer part acts to protect and hold the inner hose, allowing it to be flexible and not kinked shut. This also allows the hose to withstand higher than normal water pressure, should you have that scenario. The way the hose is made, along with its length makes it a very functional product for the bathroom, in RV's, with an outside shower, etc. It would be very useful when grilling outside or when using a firepit, handy to have in case a need for water arises. Overall, this is a really nice product, great to have and use where a longer hose is needed. Washing your pet will be a lot better as well, it's unlikely most dogs can't chew through this hose! You can extend all your possibilities with this longer hose!

This is a lengthy, highly flexible segmented ring stainless shower hose. More flexible than the plastic OEM hose it is replacing.. However, the fittiings are G 1/2 G/BSSP British metric. Not the usual US NPT. While this compression design is far superior to NPT, force fitting it to NPT tapered threads is sure to leak. The solution is an inexpensive adapter, G 1/2 to NPT. You need to check if your shower pipe feed, and shower head, are NPT or G 1/2 before ordering. It is possible to force fit onto an NPT. Wrap the NPT generously in fresh teflon tape. Carefully screw on the G 1/2. Do not over tighten. If it's a shower head, it may not leak. If it's a filter, backpressure may be enough to leak. But if its in a shower enclosure - it may be acceptable. 5 stars Clearly described G 1/2 connections. Will not fit correctly US NPT w/o adapters Comment: NPT tapered thread plumbing fixtures and connections are the 'incandescent Edison light bulb' of plumbing fixtures. In fact, NPT (National Pipe Taper) dates from the same era. The idiotic tapered thread design never seats right, needs tape to seal at all. Like incandescents, it needs to be 'retired'. Banned and no longer sold after a set date.
