Missing the special magic ink marker

I got this item for my 6 year old daughter. She was really excited and looking forward to using the book and magic ink markers. Unfortunately the marker was not on the item. It appeared as though it had been removed. The reason for the book is to be able to use it with the magic ink marker. Needless to say that my daughter was extremely disappointed. I am upset because I am hesitant to order another one for fear that it will be missing the marker again.
