PGP Plus Portable Power Conditioner

I didn't have a pre-existing issue such as poor utility power, but I'm aware of musicians relying on these to protect their gear moving from one venue to another, and many with those have poor power quality, old wiring infrastructure, etc. I have opened one of these up and I'm satisfied there's substantial Hardware in here, well beyond the power strip high frequency filtering, high quality capacitors, etc. Longevity of my equipment and peace of mind is the premise. I think these particular models are worth exactly what the price is, no more and no less. Premium Power conditioners with voltage regulation are available for a higher price point, but we're leaving any interference from, and electrical fatigue from the input source to my equipment was the goal and this fits the bill. One thing I take issue with is the torsion place on the board because one corner of it is pulled down to the switch, internally, don't think that stress on the circuit board is any good. The mounting posts inside the enclosure for the main board are uneven and do not accommodate the switch properly, they should shorten the posts or extend the legs of the switch instead of pulling the board down with a screw. Any Engineers that are reading this will know what I'm talking about.

So originally I went to my local neighborhood W*rst Buy and purchased some 🚀 🐟 product. Big mistake, called a buddy of mine and he recommended this product. I have used Furmann products in the past as well, but for the money, this one can not be beat. I highly recommend.

Ordered a $400+ Furman and this $119.00 Black Lion power conditioners, I ran both on and off for the past week (my setup allows easy access) and sent back the Furman. Plugged in are a Denon 3800h, Emotiva Basx A11 amp, Outlaw mono blocks, fosi V3's, WiiM Ultra, LG OLED tv. Prior to both I had a very slight hum on my tower speakers (could not hear in rear or sides) both conditioners 100% eliminated it, again was slight and only with ear next to tweeter, (yes I was being picky) but both work 100% effectively so kept the lower priced one.

Black Lion audio products never disappoint! This thing is a beast for a wall plugin power conditioner. Much bigger than the pictures portray. I can highly recommend it!

this actually made the sound of my stereo, worse, not terrible by any means, but I noticed when I had my integrated and cd player plugged into this surge protector, it sounded veiled and there is a very slight hiss coming out of the tweeters when I put my ear right up to them , once I plugged back into the wall , my speakers were completely silent, I'm nitpicking here but I'm extremely OCD when it comes to my sound system ,

I was getting a loud pop from the speakers when a nearby light was switched on or off. No more pops using the Black Lion Audio PG-P Plus. Audio fidelity improved...
