Harvest Fiesta Mandoline Style Cabbage Shredder, Restaurant Quality Stainless Steel Slicer

Purchased this product to replace an antique wooden cabbage cutter to process this seasons garden cabbage. The stainless construction, nylon guides and design of the product slide makes cutting safe, effortless and efficient. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to mass process leafy vegetables.

This thing is amazing!!! I got it for my father and he has thanked me on weekly basis since January :) It is so sharp, the whole head of cabbage is gone in just a couple of slices. He had a cheaper plastic mandolin and it is a world of difference! Get it, it’s worth the money!

My original review was a 1 star (actually it would have been a zero) This unit is not well made and very unstable. The front legs would kick out even after securing with screws through the holes on the feet of the legs. Putting any kind of pressure when shredding cabbage, the unit collapses. This unit is not sturdy even after tightening the wings as much as possible. Very disappointing after picking heads of cabbage and ready to make sauerkraut. I will now use the mandolin that I already have. I thought this would be faster but it’s taken so much of my time already. I would definitely not recommend. Sending unit back. UPDATE: I received another unit from this company. They were absolutely great in their response to my review. I did not contact them - they contacted me after my review. They sent me a new unit. I used the new unit which worked properly without any issues. It made the process of cutting many heads of cabbage to make sauerkraut in a short period of time. The legs have been adjusted to support the unit and shredding worked wonderfully. I’m SO happy that they replaced the unit with a new one. NOW I would recommend this product and this company. They went above and beyond to improve their product and keep a happy customer. I now rate them with a 5 star. Great seller to work with - they care about their products and their customers. Would highly recommend without any hesitation.

It's built to last and I like the fact that I can sharpen the blades when the time comes.

It is very well designed. Exelent quality, convinient and safety. We love it, and 100 % satisfied.

How could you do any better?

We shred a LOT of cabbage for our business and that used to take hours! With this, we're done in a fraction of the time and can spend time on other things.
