Worth paying the little extra
After some research into cheaper alternative lamps, I'm pleased that I paid a bit extra for this excellent Architect Desk Lamp. From opening the box to switching on took 2 minutes - everything clicked into place without the need for any tools. The metal base is reassuringly solid but has a footprint of just 220 mm x 140 mm and is flat, so you can put other items on top of it. It's an attractive addition to any desktop or work area - I use it when I'm checking photo prints. It has a pleasing and even spread of light, with a useful and accurate range of colour temperatures. I also like the way that the controls are all on a single bar at the front of the shade.

An excellent lamp for sketching
Bought this lamp for pencil sketching. It provides a good even light with minimal shadows, which was a bugbear with ordinary spot lamps. I found the preset 'work' lamp settings a bit bright so used a slightly lower setting. Haven't used a lot of the adjustments but they're there if need. Came well packed and straight forward to put together, just 3 clicks and it was done. Feels sturdy and well made.

Great for miniature painting
Got this for miniature painting. The light is wider than it looks (so it will light up more of your desk, which is good), the colour index and is spot on and brightness is just what I wanted. All good so far. Very happy customer

Wonky horizontal light beam (listing left)
I would rate this as a 5 star and, once returned, I’ll likely repurchase. The horizontal light beam was wonky (listing left). Aesthetically, it was really annoying. I double checked and rebuilt (it’s very simply to do) but it was still wonky. Other than that, I really like this high quality product.

JUNK!!!!
Worked great for one month until it didn’t! Plug and wiring are fine, however the lamp stopped working! HONEYWELL - does not stand behind the product because it’s made by a Chinese licensee…

Fabulous desk lamp.
Works exactly as expected. Bright, unstepped dimmable, with different Kelvin adjustments. Also, love the timer! I bought this to use as my piano as my old eyes need lots of light. Also doubles as my quilting retreat light.

Schöne Tischlampe – absolut empfehlenswert!
Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Tischlampe. Sie sieht modern und hochwertig aus und passt optisch sehr gut. Besonders praktisch finde ich, dass sich die Helligkeit ganz einfach einstellen lässt. Auch das Touch-Bedienfeld funktioniert super und macht die Bedienung sehr angenehm. Insgesamt eine tolle Lampe mit schönem Design und praktischen Funktionen. Ich würde sie jederzeit weiterempfehlen!

FABULOUS. Nice, SOLID, Wide light bar. Adjustable position and angle of the light. SIMPLE to pop together. Looks professional and durable. Worth the price!! Great for conference call lighting or desk work.
