Great value & securely packaged
This is the best sauerkraut I’ve ever eaten. The kraut has a mild taste and isn’t brine-logged. The kraut is moist but doesn’t soak a hot dog bun. The strands of kraut are fine(r) than other brands I’ve tried. No big ol chunks of cabbage either. I’m very happy with this choice and will buy it again.

Best Kruat ever. My grandmother is from mernau germany in Bavaria region. And she loved it. Cooks down great till its soft. Goes amazing with a garlic potato. Ill be buying more.

Subtle but savory flavor. I eat this stuff on toast, it's so good. Compliments other flavors. I replaced Cleveland Kitchen with this. But with the CK pickles and hot honey jalapeños. Delicious.

Good, but still not Bavarian restaurant style
Don't get me wrong, this is good sauerkraut. But having lived in Munich for 2 years, I still don't find this the same texture and flavor as most home-made sauerkrauts served in restaurants there. Maybe after several hours of simmering, but not right out of the jar.

Pasteurized sauerkraut. All probiotics are wiped out.
Will not buy again. Found out after I bought it that this brand pasteurizing their sauerkraut, which removes the healthy live cultures. If you're just buying it to add to your sausage, it does taste good. But I'll be searching for brand that is gut healthy.
