I bought them several months ago thinking they'd just be his hiking shoes, but he turned them into everyday use shoes. He likes standing in the shallows of creeks because he knows they are waterproof and his socks have never been soaked while wearing them. I can't speak to how it would work out for him if he went deeper where the laces would be submerged, though. They fit perfect. He has never complained about comfort and they are so durable! They are probably 6 to 8 months old by now and the toes are only slightly scuffed. That's a huge win in my book. Review: Boots work. My finger also got workout. Worth it? - Bought the boots for my son. He loves them. Waterproof function: solid. Price tag: favorable compared to what I expected. Me trying to wrestle him into them: one rep too many. Why did I get boots instead of tennis shoes? Maybe because it was cheaper. But after 27 seconds of lacing and wrestling, Iโm pretty sure a tennis shoe version would have been smoother. The boots make him look (and run) great, but every time he says โLetโs go!โ Iโm still tying at least one knot. Bottom line: For the kid โ big win. For the parent โ slight workout. If I were doing it again, I might choose the tennis-shoe version instead. But Iโm still calling this a success.

Waterproof and Durable
Really wish that these were offered with an alternative closure like the shoe version. I also wish both were offered in half sizes. After putting no tie shoe laces my daughter had trouble getting them on. She out grew them fast so I gave them away. However, she has the regular shoe version also. They are waterproof as well as highly durable. They fit true to size and she says that they are comfortable. She wears them to school on rainy days and quiet often runs around in them outside while playing. The style and colors are something that easily matched her school dress code and uniforms.

Greta fit. Great price. The company had to send me a new one since I was sent the wrong size at first. But the new pair came very quickly and it's a great fit.

Good Value
For $40, these boots held up well. The steel toe is very good, but after about 8 months I did notice that water got in the boot if I walked in wet areas. Try reinforcing the seal around the base.

Shoe Size
Good quality but I do feel it runs small.

Lightweight & Comfortable, Great for Active Children
I bought these shoes for my son before a vacation, looking for something he could comfortably walk 7โ9 miles a day inโand that would keep his feet dry if it rained. They absolutely delivered! Theyโre super lightweight, held up great through long days of walking, and kept his feet dry. They've now become his favorite pair of shoes. Iโll definitely keep buying them as he grows!

Surprisingly Attractive, Especially for the Price
Good price for a fine pair of boots. Wasn't really expecting that much fashion-wise, and was just looking for a pair of waterproof boots for my daughter. But after replacing the shoelaces with some brightly colored laces, they are actually rather stylish! My daughter loves the way they look, especially the matte appearance, and has even gotten quite a few compliments from her friends at school!

Meh
Narrow fit. As soon as my son's feet grew a teeny bit, the narrow toe box hurt his feet.
