Great swim fins
I have had several pair of swim fins previously but needed a new pair that I predominately use for lap swimming. I really appreciate the time and effort other reviewers have put into this so I will add my opinion. I have had fins that are just too tight and crowd my feet, ending up with painful red marks. I have had fins that felt good but I couldn’t swim more than 20 minutes in them because I had blisters on my heels and toes by then. I tried larger sizes but the fins wouldn’t stay on. I wear a 9.5 shoe, medium width, but have told deformities with crooked toes, claw toes, and bunion deformity which makes me search for shoes that have a wider toebox but I will have trouble when I buy shoes in a wide width because my heel lifts off. I always thought this was the reason that swim fins that worked for my sister or friends didn’t work for me. One previous reviewer had commented on the comfort of these films gave her with her toe deformities so I decided to give them a try. I totally agree. They feel wonderful. I get a great lower leg workout with these fins on. I put them on at the beginning now and swim my entire work out with them. Fins make swimming fun again. The heel does not slip, I do not have blisters or sore red lines on my feet after wearing them. And they don’t slip. They stay securely on my feet as I swim. Easy to put on and off unlike some other fins I have tried. These are a keeper!

Love at first swim! These fins keep my arthritic knees in proper alignment, and feel amazing!
I have recently started swimming after a long period of complete inactivity due to health issues. For reference, I am a 45 year old woman, walk with a cane, need total knee replacement in both knees due to bone on bone arthritis, and had arthroscopic knee surgery (to remove loose bone fragments) just a few months ago. Because I need to be so careful with my knees, I researched and considered all my options before choosing these. I was advised by a swim coach and trainer (and the info online I found) that I needed to find shorter fins, ideally with a notch in the center (or an even delta/V-shape at the ends). I just received them today, and headed to the pool to swim laps. The verdict? Love at first swim! I put these on as soon as I warmed up, and didn’t take them off (except for a few laps to test my form) for a solid 90 minutes of swimming laps- my kicking remained in alignment, which is difficult for me because of my knee issues and muscle weakness that has resulted from inactivity. The fit is amazing- I was nervous about rubbing/blisters, but they fit my feet perfectly, with no issues whatsoever. I wear a women’s size 9.5 in athletic shoes, and the medium fit me perfectly. My heels are narrow, and my feet are medium width, but because of previous stress fractures in my feet, I prefer a wider fit shoe... I’m picky about fit, and I rarely find something right away that feels this good on my feet! I was using loaner fins at my local lap pool- Keifer brand, Cruiser models, and the small size Keifer fins were more narrow and were too painful to wear for more than a lap or two, but the medium size was too large for me, even with swim socks. These are JUST RIGHT! While the Keifer fins almost float on top of the water while in use, these seem more neutrally buoyant, which seems to eliminate strain on my back. It was harder for me to control my kicking alignment with the Keifer fins, as well, which resulted in some very painful moments. These fins seem to be just what I needed! The silicone heel and footbed is so soft and comfy, and the fin portion is pretty firm, but not nearly as hard as a body surfing type fin (Churchill, for example). Many reviewers have commented that these fins feel heavy, but I didn’t find that to be the case for me. While some foam-type fins (the kind that actually float) may feel lighter and keep your feet on top of the water, and racing fins may help propel you through the water a faster, these seem to be the “just right” balance for me. With the muscle weakness and knee issues I have, I can’t walk without a cane, so I cannot fathom what the “these fins are too heavy” reviewers are complaining about- if I can use these without becoming fatigued, I think you should be able to use them easily, too! My feet were able to remain just under the surface of the water, and I adjusted to them quickly after just a couple laps. I experienced less knee pain today using these fins versus the Keifer Cruiser fins, or swimming without fins, and feel like I got a great workout! I cannot use my right arm right now because of a rotator cuff tear, so I swam laps for 90 minutes using only my legs. I cannot speak to the effectiveness of these fins for those who swim breaststroke or butterfly because I cannot swim this way- with my knee issues, I am limited to sidestroke, crawl, freestyle or backstroke (though no using arms for me today). I was able to focus more on my form with these fins, which seems to be the point of a training fin! I tried a few laps with fins, followed by a few laps without, to encourage muscle memory, and found that my form already seems to be improving. I put them back on for the remainder of my swim session because they felt so good, and I was looking for a good cardio and leg toning workout. I may consider using a different type of fin at some point if I want to go way faster, but since I’m not racing anyone or being chased by a shark in the water I think these fins are pretty perfect for what I need! I am not being compensated for this review, nor did I receive a discount- I purchased these at full price, and am sharing my thoughts because i find reviews to be incredibly helpful to me when purchasing items online. I hope this helps you with your decision, and that you also enjoy the Speedo Biofuse fins as much as I do! I’ll update my review if needed, but so far, so good!

good fins, good for training
I swam from age 6 to 18, and have done a small amount of college and masters swimming - I'm 29, and lap swim is now my preferred work out. I looked at a bunch of reviews and was stuck trying to decide between the gold zoomers, these, and a few other pairs. I went with these because they looked soft, and my feet have suffered from zoomers in the past. My right foot especially seems to get very sore from stiff/tight fins. I wear size 10/or 10.5 shoe so I decided to go with the x-large based on overall reviews. It fits just a little loose, which is better than a little tight in my case. They don't fall off or anything, just a little bit of tug on my foot hairs, but that's tollerable. And if you're worried about the reviews saying they are heavy and hard to work out in.. well that's the point - they are for training. I might order the gold zoomers too though, I remember they were hard on my feet in highschool, but according to their website they have a softer material around the foot and the same stiffness in the fin now - similar to the biofuse. It looks like the biofuse has a little more fin length to them, so i'm probably getting a little more distance per kick, but i'm not that picky about my training these days, only that i'm getting a workout and comfortable. These do the job.

These Speedo swim fins are awesome and definitely live up to expectations. I enjoy using them every time I get into the pool, especially for my workouts. They’re comfortable, effective, and a great purchase overall. Highly recommended!

Worth the money
These work well for adding resistance to your swim workout. I Normally wear a size 10 1/2 or 11 and ordered ML that is supposed to be a 9-10. I'm glad I did. They are not loose. I do not wear any booties or socks with them. They are short enough to do flip turns with when doing laps. I've added 15 minutes with these onto my normal swim workout, so I can just work on my legs. I have not noticed any rubbing or chafing. They fit in a 20 liter dry bag that I store all my wet stuff (swim fins, case with goggles, ear plugs and nose plug, wet towels and swim shoes). I use the swim shoes to keep the skin from getting peeled off my toes from doing flip turns. The fins work the same way for that. ,

My favorite out of many
Simply awesome! I swim laps frequently I usually blister with other makes/models. Not with these. No water socks needed. The foot pocket feels super soft. I love the feel/cadence I have with these in free/back and fly. Feels very natural with my normal kick rhythm. They have the nice rythm of something longer like the trialon, but in a far more compact package and are way more comfortable for me.

Size chart is not accurate
Their size chart is not accurate at all. I'm size 10 in shoes, so I ordered the L, but they were too big, so I would recommend choosing a smaller size than your regular shoe size.

Good for wider feet
I haven’t swam with these yet but I already like them. I wear a size 10.5 wide men’s shoe and got the Large. I bought a pair of Arena fins and those were super tight and narrow. They really cramped up my feet. These slide on and off and there wasn’t any struggle like the Arena.

Enhanced Swimming
Boosts speed and efficiency. Walking in and out of the water is much easier than with full diving fins. Supercharges the calf muscles. Fit is secure with no worries of them falling off. Recommend
