bubba Hero XL Vacuum-Insulated Stainless Steel Travel Mug, 30 oz., Rock Candy

I noticed some folks on here having issues with it being "left" or "right" handed. I figured out that if you want to hold it in your left hand you have to start screwing the top on while holding the mug towards you in your left hand and having the spout facing you as well and it will twist all the way back around to seat naturally facing you. The same goes for holding it in your right hand. I honestly thought I had gotten one that I could only hold in my left hand until I fiddled with it a bit and found that it all depends on how you're holding the cup when trying to screw the top on. Otherwise this cup is excellent, fits properly in my cup holders in my truck - doesn't fit in the door cup holders cause it's much wider and taller then that space. It seems to be somewhat balanced but if you're setting it on the ground it better be on a flat surface. Top snaps shut nicely and actually holds the water from pouring out when closed tighty. I use a reusable plastic straw that had come with an old Tervis cup and works great. All in all, I like the color and the fact that keeps water cold even in the hot Texas sun. Excellent purchase for the overall price.

I LOVE this mug. I have been through a ton of mugs. The number one reason for me is the way the lid is designed!1. There is a curve that actually fits your lip and coffee doesn't run down the side of the mug.2. It really does hold the heat forever. I haven't tried cold yet but the insulation rocks on this mug.3. It really will fit comfortably in the car holder. That is something that is all over the place with mugs. Too small, too tight, too whatever. This is made to fit perfectly.4. The flap on the lid has the smoothest action. It will close with easy. Many have a tight snap to color and nail breaking to open. It seals pretty tight. You can not hold it upside down and have it not leak, however. That isn't my concern. If you need to throw a mug in a bag and go you want Contigo Autoseal Transit mug or the Zojirushi SM-SC. Both are leakproof no matter what. I love them both. In this Bubba mug, I wanted BIG.5. The mug lid screws on right every time so the opening is right where you want it. That is if you are right-handed.6. The handle is comfortable. I NEED a handle. My hand is small and doesn't just wrap around every mug. Many handles are too small or too close to the mug so it is hard to hold on. This one is comfortable and will fit any hand no matter how big or small.Bubba products rock. I have a much larger mug I use to keep smoothies cold for two days!10 stars from me.

So far so good with this thing. Nice, big size. Seals well and prevents leaks. Seems pretty tough. I dropped it on the tile floor and didn't see any dents or scratches. The top opening is the exact perfect size for a Hario V60 pour-over brewer, so you can brew directly into the mug, which is pretty handy.3 Month Update: Still love this thing. No issues so far. I really like how there are two threads for the top, so you can orient the lid opening to put the handle on either side. Very useful if you want it while driving. Does a great job keeping things cool (my primary use is Iced coffee in the morning on my way to work.) The lid has continued to be totally leakproof, even when shaking it to mix stuff.

This is a backup for the Bubba I already have that I cannot live without. The one I have is a few years old and the handle is getting loose. I can't live without Bubba 😭 so I got the Blue one. It holds my iced tea or soda for at least 12 hours with ice still in it and in the winter it stays hot for about 4-6 hours depending on the exterior temp. I have this model of Bubba to all my kids, outlaws, and siblings a couple of years ago. It also doesn't spill if you snap down the opening where you drink and screw on the lid properly. So I can carry it inside of things and not worry about leaks. I haven't been able to find this model of Bubba in the stores and the newer models do not have screw on lids and sealed drinking slot like this one does so they leak.

Bubba is with me 7 days a week when I walk our dog in the rain, snow, sleet and fog so far (yet to use in the summer)... it's big, but the base will fit in a car cup holder. The handle is perfect, and it is leakproof. It holds over 1/2 a standard coffee pot of coffee (which is ALMOST) enough to give me a jump-start for the day. The rubber base keeps it from damaging countertops and clanging, the paint finish is tough, it is dishwasher safe (top shelf so far).

UPDATE: I contacted the manufacturer to see how to fix the handle myself. They ended up just sending me a new mug for free. In the meantime, I figured out that there's a panel that you can lift up to access the screw which was then able to be tightened. Love these mugs.These mugs do a great job of keeping your contents cold and ice and melted for hours on end! I ordered this in March and in August, the handle became unscrewed and fell off as I was walking to class. I have owned two other versions of this mug and this has never happened! (And they’re still in use!)

I read one review that said it was meant to be used left-handed. It did come with the handle on the left. I've found that if I start the lid by putting the drinking hole where you want it to end up. It becomes a right-handed cup. I love how warm it keeps my tea! It stays hot for hours. I have to let the tea cool without the lid on until it is perfect drinking temperature. When it is, the lid goes on and I have my warm tea. I would highly recommend this cup.

I have bought 6 or more various types of Bubba mugs. This particular one is my favorite because it keeps things ice-cold for a long time. I'm a "heavy" meal drinker. Each morning I prepare a Soylent Meal Replacement drink, some type of Smoothie, and some type of flavored water using these Bubba mugs. The three last throughout the day and have kept me from reaching for junk food whenever my stomach growls. These particular mugs are great because they fit in the drink holder of my car.I have bought other barrel-shaped Bubba mugs to use when I brew a pot of coffee and for my husband for his water.I started out by buying less expensive plastic thermal mugs which inevitably came unglued or were scratched easily within the first few uses. I stopped being such a tightwad and switched to these. I'll save money, not to mention frustration in the long run.

Keeps coffee etc hot for hours. Bigger than i expected but that just means more coffee!!😁

Bubba cups are the best hot or cold mugs an this is a big mug but keeps hot most of the day haven't tried cold yet, love the new kid design far better then smaller 18 ounce one, lids broke everytime should almost sell lids separately so can replace.i love the size love the color very durable, little pricey but still worth it

The paint/ coating is peeling off, bought in March noticed peeling in June. Keeps drinks cold or hot as stated on advert. Handle a bit shaky.

Massive mug - holds a ton of Tea or Coffee. Love the design, still fits in any standard cup holder. I think because of the amount of liquid, it get cold a bit sooner than I expected, but maybe it just takes me longer to drink! :). Overall a great buy.

Not my first of this type. This one was a replacement for one lost. Best Bubba for keeping liquid hot. Be careful not to scald your mouth if you keep it closed in the first hour or so.
