I have a 15 year old chihuahua and her poor little nose is getting hard and dry with little horns on it. This has been such a good product to smooth, moisturize and bring it back to looking good. I usually give her some peanut butter on her licking pad after I put it on so she focuses on that instead of trying to lick it off. Now she’s excited for me to put it on her because she knows what happens next. lol.

This ointment works great!! My dog had a white crust on her nose for years. Her nose was so sore and crusty. I tried many things including vet ointments and nothing worked. But this got rid of it after using it for a month and she has a smooth black nose again. I am so grateful. She likes it when I put it on her and reminds me if I forget.

It worked very well with about three applications a day. Got his nose all nice again. He liked the smell of it and kept trying to lick his nose so multiple applications were required.

Two years in a row, my German Shepherd developed a raw, painful looking crack in his nose nostril in early winter that nothing could cure until both years it healed spontaneously in late winter/early spring. He has environmental allergies that are at their worst in winter, and his vet believes the cracked nose is about that, and sure enough, the crack developed and healed seasonally. I'd tried all kinds of stuff: vet prescribed cortisones, liquid Vitamin E, waxy Paw Guard (natural ingredients and great on his paw pads), but nothing worked. And I bought this in the middle of last winter. This also did not heal the already established crack (though maybe soothed it a bit), however this fall, seeing the crack begin to develop again, I started applying this twice daily, and so far, it's keeping the crack at bay. I'll try to remember to update here later to report whether it was able to ward off the winter nose cracking, but so far, it really seems to be helping. For the record, I thought this stuff was ridiculously over-priced, but it really is great and lasts forever -- it doesn't take much to treat a dog's nose. Totally worth the price. To keep my dog from instantly licking the stuff off of his nose (evidently it is also delicious), I have his favorite ball handy when putting this on, and then immediately engage him with the toy. Once there's a ball/tug/toy in his mouth and I'm playing with him, he forgets all about the stuff on his nose. UPDATE: so, no, this did not work to keep my dog's nose from cracking with his allergies. Though his nose was soft and conditioned, the seasonal crack still developed. What did help heal it quicker this year was a combo from the vet allergist: Apoquel and a steroid gel applied directly to the nose. Also, this stuff does not last forever -- after a year, we have a lot left, but it's smelling on the rancid side, which is reasonable for an all-natural product; just heads-up: try to use it up within a year.

Literally worked overnight. Our Frenchie has always had a crusty looking nose. Put this on as soon as I received it and his nose was perfect the next morning. Still give him a light daily dose though. Highly recommend

I wasn't sure this was going to work. I purchased the 2 oz tin of Snout Soother. I read the reviews, they all said it works. I was still very scepticle. I bought it anyway. For $20 I thought it's worth a try. I have a 19 lb chiweenie. His nose was dry and had what I call porcupine spikes on the tip of his nose. Lots of long brissles. My vet said he produces too much keratin and that it's fine. I didn't like the look of it and I didn't think my boy liked having that on the tip of his nose either. I did some research online and I came across Canine Hyperkeratosis. I believe that is what he has, which is what my vet said without the medical term. Snout Soother meantioned it helps with that. I had trouble getting it on his nose, there really isn't a smell to it, but dogs smell better than humans. He just isn't used to having stuff put on his nose. I applied it, or managed to get the ointment on his nose about 5 times. I wasn't able to rub it in, just kinda got it on. He licked it, but some stayed on. He didn't get the poops or leaky butt from licking it. His nose looks so much better. All the pocupine spikes are gone. He has one or two stragglers but 98% gone. His nose looks so much better. I am going to apply it 1 or 2 more times, but I want to get him used to me touching his nose. I have been working on that. In a few more days I should be able to apply the Snout Soother with no stress to him or me. It is an amazing product and I think great value. I could have went with the 1 oz tin. My boy is a smaller dog. I didn't take before pictures because I honestly didn't think it was going to work. For my boy it definitely did work. So I have attached the after pictures.

I was a bit reluctant to buy this as I thought it was rather expensive. However, within 48 hours my bulldogs nose has gone from being very dry and crusty to a very moist and smooth one. I highly recommend this balm, it works wonders!

Ho scelto questa crema perché è totalmente naturale e visto che va messa sul naso, non volevo che potesse leccarsi roba chimica. Nel giro di 3 giorni il tartufo della mia Bulla Inglese è tornato idratato e morbidissimo!!! Ho provato a mettergliela anche su una zona della schiena, dove a causa di una ferita, le si era fatta ormai da mesi una cicatrice e non ricresceva più nessun pelo. Ho provato a mettergliela anche lì, tanto mi son detta è naturale e male che sarebbe andata, non sarebbe successo nulla, ma il pelo dopo 5 mesi che non cresceva più, le è rispuntato di nuovo!!!! Sono felicissima!!!!

Das ist ein super Produkt! Nicht mal 1 Woche hat es gedauert, um die trockene, bröckelnde Nase meines frenchies wieder zum Leben zu erwecken! Diese Salbe bewirkt wunder!!! Ich habe seine Nase nur 1-2 mal täglich eingeschmiert.. meistens übernacht ganz dick wenn er schläft und nicht beim toben dazu kommt, sie sich abzuwischen.. Sie ist nicht mehr wieder zu erkennen. Außerdem ist sie nach dem die Salbe bereits eingezogen ist, sehr lange befeuchtet.. verhindert also immer wieder das eintrocknen! Kann ich ehrlich nur empfehlen.. ist ihr Geld auf jeden Fall wert!

Mi bulldog tenía unas crostras en la nariz que no se le iban. Con esto se le han ablandado y caído a cachos. Le ha quedado la trufilla bien. Recomendable y dura mucho, porque con nada de frotar el dedo ya vale para una aplicación. Buen producto!
