I recently purchased a few different LED light strips for my TV. This is one that worked best. Lights up the entire wall. The USB is a great option that plugs directly into the TV and powers on when the TV is on. Can easily change the colors on the control panel or the remote. I ran this on a 65” TV

EDIT for update at the bottom (leaving the original here so you can see my original problem and the solution) Unrolled it to straighten it out before installation. Everything lights up when plugged in, but the remote only worked for one button push (no matter which button) then won't do anything. Unplugging the strip and plugging it back in allowed the remote to work for another button push, then stopped working altogether. Put a new battery in just on case, still doesn't work at all. Decided to try the app, and it connected just fine, as well as to the WiFi. It would change colors, but not the brightness. And then after 30 seconds, the strip was offline and couldn't be connected to. Unplugged it and plugged it back in, came back online, the app controls worked for about 30 seconds again, and then it stopped connecting. Unplugged it and plugged it back in, and when it came back online, I deleted it from the app, waited a bit, then added it back to the app. Same thing happened. LEDs were bright, the whole strip lit up, but the controller on them was crap. Even the 3 buttons ON the controller don't work! ________________________________________________ UPDATE HERE: Pautix responded. The strip needs the full 5v and proper amperage for the controller to work. In my case, I had a multi port wall outlet with 3 USB-A (one a 3.0 version) and a USB-C. My phone was plugged into the USB-C during the process, and so even the USB 3.0 didn't have enough juice to run it. Unplugged the phone and it works now! I tried on another outlet in the next room (a newer outlet, also from Amazon) and it worked there even with the phone plugged in. Took it into my office upstairs and plugged it into one of the free USB ports on it and it worked there even with a bunch of other USB devices plugged in. So the issue was that outlet (which I'm now changing out). Now that it's figured out, I'll be buying 6 of the shorter length to do my kitchen cabinets with (above and below them)! So let this be a lesson: if it doesn't seem to be able to be controlled when you plug it into a USB outlet, make SURE that the USB outlet is providing full voltage and amperage. a 2.5 volt USB port will not work, and even a 5 volt one that is still putting out ~4 volts with other things plugged in will not work. Only thing from me giving it 5 stars now is that this needs to be clearly in the listing.

Easiest to set-up, comes with a reliable controller, lights can be a bit fragile but that's mainly all RGBIC strips. The IC chips make them sensitive to bends and folds. I had some issues to start but customer service was beyond awesome and provided a more than satisfactory solution each time I contacted them. Highly recommend!

So many options! And so bright! Really blown away by this. Love the customization.
