What do I do first after receiving the light?

The battery could be low after long time storage and transport, please connect the solar panel and light then let it charge in the sun for 1-2 days before installation.

How long is the battery runtime?

The battery is fully recharged,it powers the light for up to 15 hours (all night) in constant mode or dim-to-bright motion sensor mode.In cloudy days or between September to December, please adjust the solar panel to face the sun for optimal charging.

Any precautions for installing the solar panel and light panel?

Don’t install the solar panel in the shade of trees or buildings where they can’t absorb sunlight and near other light sources, as bright light could cause the light to stay off or blink at night.

Any precautions for installing the solar panel and light panel?

Don’t install the light higher than the solar panel, as the light cast on solar panel could turn light off by itself. Don’t install the light panel near air conditioner outdoor units, as the heat could affect motion sensor functions.

What’s the recommended maintenance?

We recommend you clean the solar panel once every month in dry seasons or sandy areas, to remove the dust and debris that could lower charging efficiency.
