​Review of the Carbon Shield Case ​I like this case a lot. It is very slim and stylish. I don't see the point of putting a bulky case on such a thin phone, adding unnecessary weight. I also like that it has no front cover; from my previous experience, the front part scratches the phone and falls off easily. It also limits the experience when using the front screen. I also installed the anti-reflecting film that was included with the case which is a great feature. While I'm enjoying the case for daily use, I do share the concerns mentioned in other reviews. I'm not confident that it would provide enough protection against a serious drop. Also, the price feels a bit too high.

DO NOT BUY THIS CASE. This case is $82.00 and its half a case. There is no protection at all for half the phone. If this case was $19.99 it would be a rip off.

Ordered the Carbon Shield case and was reluctant about it due to reading reviews about it only being a back piece however the fact that it stays on the phone without adhesive unlike competitors, and the fact that it maintains the phones sleek form factor have won me over. Feels gripper in the hand than just the phone but also like youre using the phone naked. Carbon fiber feels like good quality imo, and I've seen some bad stuff in the auto parts side of things.

The case itself protects edges, maintains the the phone slim, and has a nice design. Everything else on the phone is not protected. Opening side can (and most likely will) get some scratches. The screen film is not so great either. The case comes with 2 of them, in case you need to re apply. Instructions help, but the film itself is not very good. It breaks in the middle, and in both instances I was applying it, it wouldn't lift off like the video shows. Note: this is not a screen protector, it will only help with scratches. Might provide an extra layer in case the phone falls, but it doesn't feel strong enough to prevent a screen crack. Not really worth buying. You're better off buying a real screen protector and another case.

Awesome product that bring total comfortable to handling your device, and protects it completely.

I installed it according to instructions. Both screen protectors had a line right in the middle that you could easily see. Basically had to throw both of them away.

I was kind of worried to drop the phone that's why I bought the Torras Grip and it works perfectly well with the Fold 7.
