My 2nd one - rebought through "Buy Again" because the first one was so awesome. I no longer dread summers, living and working in a 30' trailer in the PNW. This one didn't disappoint. If needed, I will buy it again and again. LOVE the remote too.

Just at the start of the cooling season my well used window air conditioner in my shop stopped "cooling" - discharge air temp was about 55 degrees - ugh! Needed to get a new unit so used the convenient comparison shopping via Amazon to help find what I wanted. Selected this unit based on 1) size (small windows in shop), 2) largest cooling capacity for the size, and 3) lowest price. That criteria led me to this unit and after a summertime of use here in the South I am well satisfied. I bought the 10K BTU unit as it has the most capacity that would fit in my space. The specs rate this at 450 sq. ft. and my shop is close to 600 sq. ft. so it's a bit underpowered but did the job to my satisfaction keeping the temps in the 75-77 deg set point. I like the way it operates in that I just leave it on all the time at the set temp and forget it. It only runs when the temp excides the set point, the rest of the time it is off and draws no power for the fan (this is different from my last unit). It does however run a "sampling" cycle every 10-15 minutes that runs for less than 10 seconds to test the ambient air temp in the space. Unit is quiet for the amount of air that the fan moves (quite a lot), compressor noise is minimal, and the remote control is convenient to use. Never used the WI-FI function but it is provided. Well pleased with this unit after its first summer "workout" NOTE: I wanted a cover for the unit when the cooling season is over and selected the vendor "i frmmy" from Amazon since they advertised a size of 18 x 13 x 12 which is as close as I could find from the listed choices. This unit measures just under 18.5 in wide so I hoped it would fit - all other choices only said 17 in wide. It's snug but does go over and cover the unit as desired.

I have 3 of these units 2 14,000 and 1 8,000 btu and the past few days its been about 95 degrees and my home is in direct sunlight. And these units have my house at 67 during the hottest part of the day. Im extremely pleased with these units. They definitely do great cooling 1000sq feet.

Seen like its either too cold or not cold enough

I don't think it could be louder if it ran on diesel. Even the lowest/quietest setting can be heard from a different floor on the opposite side of the house. Very heavy, had to wait for help to install, so by the time I heard how loud it was, I didn't have enough time to return it or even the strength to physically move it without help. Worst money I have ever spent.

Works extremely well

Air conditioner blows very cold but needs a 220 electrical connection to operate. Remote control easy to use, installation is quite time consuming with the instructions a bit confusing. All in all, very satisfied with the cooling performance with a fairly quiet noise level.
