Be patient, very slow to emerge - done not eat plant parts or green berries
I started these indoors 4/8 to be able to transplant outdoors end of June - I live in NY. Early May I took outdoors into a portable greenhouse. Water daily, seedlings started to emerge end of May. I had room for 3 plants , 1 went until a 2โ h x 2.5โw pot, others on north or south spots in a raised bed - full sun. 8/9 I started harvesting - just a few were yellow / mostly green berries ( do not eat green) letting then ripen with an apple and banana near by- very tasty- glad I took the chance to try something new. In the last photo the seedling are in the lower right corner- center is a tomato- kind of looked like basil when small - even the lanterns that look old almost whitish yellow had called to the ground had green unripe berries- 9/4- earlier harvest never ripened with multiple accelerators- so left reminder to ripen on plant best to leave until they fall off or the pouch pulls back and self exposes the berry

Waste of Money
I've grown ground cherries for many years and never had seeds that didn't perform. Last Spring I bought the Sow Right Ground Cherry Seeds and followed the instructions on the packet, which weren't different from past experience. However, not a single seed germinated, making the ease of growth ridiculous. Most likely I was sold old seeds past their prime, so I'll never trust this brand again. Once I realized the seeds were defective, it was too late for a refund. So don't waste your money on the Sow Right brand. Instead, buy from a trusted seller.

Healthy Seeds!
They grew! Iโm so pleased. Iโm growing in an above ground container. I had a few last year but this year the plants are producing well. So happy to enjoy this taste again.

Bad seeds, good seller
Multiple attempts to grow from these seeds have failed. All of my other seedlings are up and thriving. For whatever reason these seeds have been duds. Seller was very kind to refund money on purchase. May try again another time.

Pokeweed seeds
All seeds sprouted. Never grew this before. Was shocked when I realized that I was sold a pack of pokeweed seeds. Waste of time and garden space
