It took a while to figure out what settings worked best for what areas and took way longer than most people say it should, but am male, and I think I've got it down now. Some people say it hurts like being snapped by a rubber band, but I think that's a bit of an overstatement. If anything, the warmth of the head of the device is what's more uncomfortable, but even then, it's nothing compared to waxing, sugaring, or epilating. I wish they had glasses that covered the entire field of view, because the fact that I can see the flash out of my peripherals freaks me out a bit, but to be fair, these are the kinds of glasses all of these kinds of products come with, so it should be fine in terms of safety. I've been wary of skin discoloration, so even though I haven't had that anywhere I've used this product so far, I'm not getting this anywhere near my face. The hairs don't exactly come out as soon as they're zapped. Sometimes it's during the showers later, or after my clothing rubs against the treated areas over the course of the day, but overall there's been a definite reduction in hair density and thickness, so this product works fine, and seems like a great value considering the price of other similar products.

I purposefully waited to give my review on this item and am happy to say that it truly works. It's very easy to use, doesn't hurt, and actually works to permanently remove the hair. I've used it on my upper lip/chin/upper thighs and can attest to it working very well. I highly recommend this!

I returned this item because it’s for the entire body.. I only needed a little something for my face. I have peach fuzz..

My IPL did not come with instructions and I have never used an home IPL. I received this as a Christmas gift therefore I’m having trouble returning it or requests replacement. I tried the QR code but I have to join a mailing VIP member and if I select to not join their mailing list for new products it does not allow me to view any online info. I also tried emailing the email the site provides and I got an email return stating it is not a valid email. I am uncomfortable using the product without knowing how to use it and verifying the skin type I am and what level to use it safely. Therefore I cannot use this at all. Waste of money. I got Laser hair removal 11 to 12 years ago and have had not hair return. I however never did my legs. I would rather go to a laser clinic than figuring out how to use this machine and possibly burning myself.

Noticed hair isn’t growing back as thick. Would give five stars but I can’t get the cooling feature to work.
