Zatarain's Spanish Rice, 6.9 oz

I love rice of all sorts. I did tamales for christmas one year. I had my other half pick up some Spanish rice last minute and this is what he brought back. He also brought back a can of tomatoes. Which most box rice is just boil and add dry ingredients. This particular rice requires the addition of canned tomatoes. Rotel is always in the cupboard, so instead of the tomatoes he brought home I added rotel. The result is so good. Now I'll eat just this rice as a meal itself. If you get it, buy a can of Rotel as well. You can than me later!

The cook time is very fast 25 minutes easy to make healthy the rice is great quality and just the whole meal is just a great quality and texture to make an outstanding dinner for an easy night

Tasted excellent. I found it easy to prepare. One can always add to these boxes. Add instant rice, add Beans, add Rotel can of diced tomatoes with jalapeños, be creative, add diced ham or chorizo or summer sausage or whatever you like. It can help stretch a meal.

Flavorful, but I use about 2/3 the quantity of tomatoes.

I love Zatarains whole line of products I haven't been disappointed what so ever. The products are top notch and best of ALL AFFORDABLE...so easy to make....I either cook on the stove top or in my Ninja Slow Cooker (when I'm feeling lazy).I've used different types of meat in with the rice...one ingredient I found really enhances the flavor is to pour an 11 ounce can of V8 into the mix as it is cooking.

This product is delicious and can help you make a complete meal. I put ground beef in it and some cheddar cheese and it make a quick Spanish rice dish that smelled amazing and was easy to fix. The quality was there and no one would have guessed that it came from a box.

Everyone has a different taste but for me this was way too salty! It wasn't bad but not what I was expecting. I actually add sausage to it and it is a good deal and versatile.

I add one can Rotel fire roasted tomatoes and a can of diced fire roasted chilis and canned chicken breast for some excellent burritos
