I needed connectors for a 3D printer enclosure tent built around fiberglass poles, and the plastic junk that came with it turned brittle almost immediately, and break when my cat jumps on it, (its his favorite hammock apparently) These stainless tubes were the fix. The 8mm ID slid over my poles with a snug friction fit, no shimming, no glue. I cut each 300mm length down into shorter sleeves and got several connectors out of a single tube. Five tubes covered the whole frame with material left over. They cut clean with an abrasive wheel and deburr easily. Wall thickness is 1mm, which sounds thin but is plenty rigid in a short sleeve and still light enough that it does not sag the frame. Dimensions were accurate. That sounds like a low bar until you have bought no name tubing before and discovered the OD was aspirational. Calipers agreed with the listing on all five pieces. Real 304 means no rust worries even with a heated enclosure. Cheap, useful, and exactly what was advertised. Five stars.
