SOMWISE Frosted Window Privacy Film, Decorative Sun Heat Blocking, Anti UV

I love natural light but I also needed some privacy, I live near a school so my street is always busy, curtains help but they’re still see through. But this film just changed my life! I can have my curtains open, my room is full of light and you can’t really see anything from outside my windows! Easy to install and cut to size, once it’s sticking to the window it’s really hard to move again so make sure it’s on the right place, it stays in place! the film is thick looks good quality, the print is so cute! Makes me feel like I’m in an aquarium. The bubbles are so easy to remove. Here are some pictures of some figurines from the inside and outside of my room windows, if you get too close they look blurry so you can’t really tell what’s inside!

Bought this for the ambience and as a light filter for the windows where I keep my plants. It works wonderfully. They still get plenty of indirect bright light, but neither the sill nor the glass get hot (and I'm in central Georgia). The colors are vivid, the pattern is clear, no one can peep through them, and it's as good of a stained glass feel as you can get for the price. The rainbow effect is more of a halo than a scatter, which is fine for me, but those looking for more scattered rainbows may just want to look for a good suncatcher. It was very easy to apply since it came with a spray bottle, squeegee, and cutter. The squeegee is eh, it will work okay, but I had a better one on hand that I used instead. Overall, I love it and would recommend it. Just make sure measure before you order. I did not and ended up having to order twice lol.

This film transformed my front door sidelights. The green vine pattern looks like real stained glass when the light hits it, and the colors stay vibrant throughout the day. It was so simple to put up and feels like a high‑quality material. You can’t see through it at all, which is exactly what I wanted for privacy. I’ve also noticed less heat coming in during the afternoon, and the film hasn’t budged even in full sun. Beautiful and functional—such a good upgrade for the price.

So far so good! It was easy to put on and came with everything you need to install and sticks to the window well so far. My room is full of rainbows when the sun shines through so that’s also a plus! So far my room does feel cooler but I won’t know for sure if it is actually helping with keeping the heat level down yet till at least a couple of days of having it but I will add to the review when I know. The overall color and pattern is really pretty and very clear. The film is thick and it doesn’t tare easy. The box cutter it comes with is super sharp and does well to cut the film and definitely gets the job done well. In one of my photos I have a dirty window that’s not the fault of the film I just can’t get ontop of the roof the clean this window yet lol. But the other one is clean! :)

Super cute addition to my 21 XLE RAV4 moon roof. I never open it because the sun is too bright when driving and the view is blocked anyways by my roof rack so I added this in to utilize the feature more. Purchased for around $6 and I was pleasantly surprised the kit came with everything you needed! Cling, spray bottle, razor, clear instructions, and squeegee. This is not sticky vinyl, it adheres to the glass with water. It's nice and thick so it made repositioning very easy. I had it up in less than 10 minutes by myself. It was the perfect width to fit the window so I only used about 2 foot of material and have tons to spare. Highly recommend!

This stuff looks great and effectively provides some good privacy on a window that would otherwise give my neighbors a nice view into my bathroom. Plus the rainbow lighting effect when the sun hits it is really nice. The only problem (for me at least) is it comes off the window too easily. Basically if you can get a fingernail under an edge it comes right off with little resistance and no damage or residue, which sounds great until your cat learns they can just rip off the privacy screen whenever the urge strikes them. I ended up putting some clear tape around the outside edges to hold it down better, and that seems to have helped, though it does slightly reduce the blurring effect where the tape overlaps the film.

It’s absolutely beautiful! Also it’s thick which is easy to work with. Using the tools that was included helped a lot. The scraper has a soft edge so very easy to work with. You have to use a lot of water !!! More than you think. Cover the window with the sprayer they provide in water!! We had to do four panels to finish this window. I didn’t worry about the pattern matching because it was the blue and green vines. Amazing product. Highly recommend!!!! Also the rainbow effect is super cool. You can’t see anything besides shadows. Again this product sticks to the window very well!!

I loooooove this! It was an easy install, it’s been up for weeks with no movement despite my poking to see if it would! It gives privacy but with a festive feel!
