I use it on all my winter and raincoats. And gloves and mittens. And hats. And boots. Water rolls right off!

This product works excellent as long as you (the customer) actually use it on what it is meant to be used on! As someone who frequently waterproofs their shoes each season, this is the best out of ALL the waterproofing sprays I have used. Camp dry smells horrid and is toxic (have tried that!), Nikwax is not bad, but also not amazing and I'm not 100% sure it is going to work sometimes) but Nanoman - it works. Just keep in mind there is no way you are making your mesh tennis shoes where you can clearly see your socks waterproof. No spray is going to do that, you need different shoes! I really wonder if the complaints on this not working were from people trying to spray super thin mesh sneakers. I've had great results with Nanoman on various fabrics - cloth, suede, leather, nylon (if thick and not extremely meshy ---- it worked well on my Asics Gel Kayano 27s (won't work on 28s due to the redesign), Sketchers, Vans, you name it! You do need to reapply it after many months, so you can't just leave it in your closet for 4 years and think "oh its waterproof" test it.. most of these non-toxic ones will biodegrade over time. To get it to work the best apply one coat until its fully soaked, wipe the edge or whatever off. Wait until dry, apply a second time. If you REALLY are worried about getting wet do it a third time, but usually by then its all beading off. Then test by running the item under water. You'll see the water running off and not permeating, now you know you did a good job and its ready for the season. Canvas is by far the BEST textile to use this type of waterproofer on. Nanoman excels in that it has zero smell. It also can be used on multiple types of fabric/cloth/leather unlike other waterproofing formulas.

Tried a few times does not work that well

This product is a perfect 10, we sprayed it on all of our outdoor furniture cushions ( we have a lot) and then waited for a rainy day to see how it held up. The water beads up and just rolls off the fabric. I highly recommend this product

I’m giving one star because the sprayer is useless and makes the whole experience a mess. The instructions say shake well before using. When I shook it, the contents of the bottle spilled out everywhere from underneath the top of the sprayer. I took the top off and reset it to make sure that I had it screwed down properly. Still a problem and realized it’s coming from somewhere underneath the spray head. I’m hoping that my chair is not now ruined because there are large drops of liquid all over it instead of a mist of spray.

Product is fantastic and their customer service is just as good as their product. Easy to apply no odor and did not change the color of the fabric on the couch I used it on. I sprayed some on a piece of cloth just to see how it worked and it is amazing to see how liquid just beads up and rolls of.

The product doesn't work and we want to return it.

1 bottle spray for an entire 4 seater sofa. Costly liquid and hope it works!

The product worked great but you needed a lot to saturate the material. It worked out very expensive and the pump spray was hard to use and tiring for hands. Not good for large areas like awning but great for small items like shoes.
