Sougayilang Spinning Fishing Rod and Spool Combos Portable Telescopic Fishing Rod Spinning Reels for Travel Saltwater Freshwater Fishing

I bought this rod to replace an old telescopic rod that I had used for almost 10 years. After my first fishing session, I was very pleased with it. The rod is easier to use, more flexible and gives good feedback when playing fish. I like the adjustable handle and the overall finish. It is slightly heavier than some of my other rods, but this did not bother me while fishing. I caught fish with it on the first session and I will continue using it. For the price paid, I believe it offers very good value for money.

Yes good rod

We bought two of these rods because we travel a lot and enjoy fishing abroad. The rods fit perfectly in our checked luggage and they extends to a good fishing length. Our previously owned rod from the same brand lasted us just under one year and caught us a lot of species, which is why we bought two more rods from this company. One of the rods came undone at the handle , it looks like unglued and unfortunately it is now out of return date. The second rod which is the most recent purchase literally snapped in half when casting out a lure and we were fortunately able to get a refund. Would not recommend, very poor quality for the money paid and very disappointing in the way of having to make arrangements to accommodate rods in the luggage for travelling and then not to be able to enjoy them at the destination 👎🏻

Absolutely fantastic bit of kit which folds up small enough to go in a small back pack. The reel is a pleasure to use and is ideal for spinning .

Shrinks down to a size you can put in a normal backpack, easy to set up, feels solid, reel is really good and works well. Casts 30-60g but ive used it for 3oz weights and it can cast that out reasonably well.

Great quality rod and reel combination. Comes with a spare spool but neither are loaded with line.

Well for the money I knew it would not be great .I am planning on using it once on holiday. But got to admit the rod is pretty poor .and the reel is average .I know Chinese rods are being produce and are pretty good quality as are the reels they are producing .you can pick up a reasonable 12 ft carbon match rod for buttons these days and okuma do some good reels for a few quid . This lot was £34 . And it's not worth 20 quid .you get for what you pay ! Shop around and have a good look before you buy .trouble is the information from amazon is limited at best and the photos lie most of the time ,to get a sale ! I would NOT recommend this rod and reel combo.

Faulty as soon as I took it out of the case. Telescopic function doesn’t work. Rod doesn’t retract back. No option to exchange. Reluctant to return and rebuy as price has gone up substantially.

Lo consiglio a chi cerca un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo per la pesca amatoriale e a chi ha bisogno di una soluzione compatta ma efficiente.
