Our jack russel is a very picky eater who only likes things that could be described as "premium". This certainly ticks that box. He also has a sensitive stomach and this has never, in the six or so years we have been feeding this to him, caused his stomach to become upset. The price may be high, but the quality absolutely matches it. I do not think there is a product marketed as dog food closer to beef jerky than this. It actually smells pretty good when I open up the bag to be fair. I haven't tried, but in a starvation situation I wouldn't be scared to. This product is rare in a sense because you can always find it wherever you go. The formula is the same everywhere you go in the world, as we have gotten the same product in Germany, Japan, and the US as well.

I've been using Ziwi Peak for years as both a food and as treats for mine and other peoples dogs.I run a home based pet care business and have a lot of dogs through my doors. Many of the dogs come with food intolerances and other health issues.The vast majority of the dogs that come here have no issue eating Ziwi. My own dogs are raw fed and as this is air dried, it makes a great training treat for them. I've used it in treat dispensers, Kongs, for scatter feeding and for training. I have also used it as a meal, when raw hasn't been possible.This is a great, high quality food.

My picky dog absolutely loves ZiwiPeaks. It’s too expensive to feed her as dog food, but we break them in half to use as treats for her and she absolutely loves them. I love that they are a dog food and are giving her better nutrition than a standard dog treat. They are also great for hiding in her food to tempt her to start eating when she’s being stubborn.

My dog is pretty fussy in what he likes so its been an expensive journey to get to a tried and tested place. I took the chance on this knowing it might be money down the drain but boy does he love these. As its expense I use some on top of his meal and so far its enticed him to eat every time. Will buy again.

Use these to supplement my raw fed dog as training treats when I need to take some out on a walk etc.No nasty ingredients, and bonus to include natural "super foods" like green lipped mussels for joint support.Star taken away for cost (but acceptable as treats, rather than main meal), and also the bottom of the bag can contain quite a lot of crumbs, which probably wouldn't matter so much in a bowl, but no so good for training. You can use the crumbs/powder with a bit of liquid to fill kongs or spread over lickimats, so not a complete waste.Unfortunately as of early 2024, they're completely out of stock due to some natural disaster impacting their production back in NZ, but hopefully will be back on the shelves soon.

I've owned dogs all my life, small, medium & large, most of whom had some sensetivities or dislikes to one type of food or the other. None had any issues with this brand and food, and what's more, they all love it. Even the fussiest eaters, and the ones who have the most sensitive stomachs. The only downside is the hefty price tag, so I don't feed this every day, only on special occasions or when one of my dogs is feeling under the weather.

Whilst I can’t give an honest personal opinion, I can tell you that my two dogs adore it. I have an 11 year old shitzu and a 1 year old pug. The elder dog has pancreatic issues, EPI and I hoped this would help as the enzyme no longer seems to be helping and she is losing weight whilst you are looking at her. (The vet doesn’t know why either) So, I had purchased this product in the hope that it would help, and whilst it does not appear to have made things worse, it does not seem to have helped either. I guess I should have given it a few more tries, but the major downside of this item has been the cost, I really do wish it had not been so expensive or that it had at least given me cause to believe sticking with it would improve my dogs health.p.s. Major downside was the wind, or ‘gas’ that both dogs suffered…….. well…we probably suffered more as ‘inhalees!' than they did to be fair!!

ミニチュアダックス(8ヶ月 女の子)です。かなりの偏食でどのフードも食べ残す程。ほとほと困っていた時にZIWIを試してみようと購入しました。結果、某高級パピー用のフードに5gをトッピングとして混ぜるだけで毎回完食です！よほど美味しいのか、食べ終わった後も「欲しい欲しい」と催促する程です。匂いもThe肉。という感じで美味しいのでしょう。お値段は少々高いですが、家族にとっては一生の食べ物。気に入って美味しく食べてくれるなら、それが一番良いです！

My little Charlie goes crazy for Ziwi Peak. He’d sell his soul for this. He absolutely loves it.

This is just the kind of food my bougie dog needed. I have a pomsky that has always been super snobby, I mean, picky, about her food. I saw this food in a local store, and after reading the reviews here on Amazon, I ordered a bag. From the smell alone, she was already excited to get her dinner. She gobbled it up so quick. Because the price point is a little high, we always do a half scoop of this food, then another half scoop of some other kibble on top of it. More often than not, my pup will sort out the other kibble and only eat this food. She is now consistently eating her breakfast and dinner every day, rather than choosing to skip meals because she isn't into the food. I like that the food is mostly meat and not full of fillers. And the fact that my dog loves it so much tells me it's a high-quality, tasty food. I've been a repeat buyer of this brand, and all the flavors are a hit with my picky eater.

Unsere Jack-Russel mögen dieses Futter sehr, wir mischen es mit einem anderen Trockenfutter, damit wir unsere Hunde nicht zu Feinschmecker erziehen :-) Die ZiwiPeak Schnipsel sind immer am ersten weg, das sagt doch alles !
