Read before buying
These lights are great, but just a friendly warning, these are type B meaning you have to remove or bypass your ballast if you are upgrading from florescent tubes. Theses have there own driver and work of the direct electricity. So with that inind if you are handy like me, then it's a very simple job. You might need some extra wire nuts, some cutters and lots of common sense.

Great Lights! Slightly Tricky Install
These LED tubes are great replacement bulbs for fluorescent fixtures that need either bulbs or ballasts since, once installed correctly, you will likely never have to replace them again in your lifetime (unless you're a teenager!). These are especially useful if your fluorescent ballast has gone bad, since a new ballast alone could cost you more than a couple of these new LED bulbs, and the ballast is completely disconnected and bypassed (I removed mine), thus eliminating the most "inefficient" device in your lighting fixture. Fluorescent lights were long considered to be the most energy-efficient lighting option available, and they were efficient--when compared to standard incandescent lights. But the ballast, which is necessary for fluorescent lights, is the most inefficient part of that lighting system and, although to a lesser extent than incandescent lighting, still converts a lot of electrical energy into unwanted heat. With the technological advances in these new LED tubes, you can toss those energy-wasting ballasts (which often go bad, themselves, requiring expensive replacement) and use your same fixtures with new LED technology that further reduces the energy lost to heat and much more efficiently converts electricity into just the light that you're wanting from a light source. Unless you're keeping small animals warm or trying to keep the dampness out of the inside of your piano, there's not much need for incandescent light bulbs anymore! These particular LED tubes are very bright, and possibly bright enough that you may find that you only need half as many of the LED "bulbs" installed as compared to your old fluorescent "bulbs"! (I replaced four fluorescent tubes in my laundry room with these LED tubes in the same fixture, and I had to remove three of the new tubes because it was way too bright! I have MORE than enough light with JUST ONE LED TUBE!!!) Also, unlike those old fluorescent lights which normally lost much of their brightness after a while, these LED lights will continue to maintain their light levels for years to come, all the while saving you small change day after day after day--and all those days add up to lots of dollars over the extremely long lifespan of these "bulbs"!BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT ANY OF THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES, BE SURE YOU ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE ENOUGH AND CAPABLE OF WORKING WITH HOUSEHOLD WIRING! ELECTRICITY CAN BE DEADLY IF PROPER PROCEDURES ARE NOT FOLLOWED!!!Now for the technical stuff: These particular LED tubes are a direct replacement for old T-8 or T-12 fluorescent bulbs, and fit perfectly in standard sized fluorescent fixtures that have been MODIFIED INTERNALLY. While some LED fluorescent replacement tubes are designed to be used with a fluorescent ballast (why would you want to?), these LED "bulbs" are NOT designed to be used in fluorescent fixtures that still contain a ballast wired into the circuitry, and should NOT be used to directly replace fluorescent tube "bulbs" in an unmodified fluorescent light fixture! Before you begin installation, be sure to go to your electrical breaker box and turn off the circuit breaker that supplies the light fixture before you open the fixture housing. Then bypass the ballast (remove it from the circuit) or remove it completely from the fixture; the only things you will need to keep from your original light are the fixture itself and the "tombstones" (that hold the bulbs). If the existing wires inside the fixture are not long enough after removing the ballast, you may need to supply more wire to finish the job. ***FOLLOW THE WIRING DIAGRAM THAT COMES WITH THESE LIGHTS, because NOT ALL LED REPLACEMENT TUBES FOR FLUORESCENT FIXTURES ARE THE SAME!!!*** (Some are wired from just one end, but these are NOT THAT TYPE. Unfortunately, there seems to be no "standard" configuration established yet.) Also, the two contact pins on each end of these tubes are apparently not connected, so just because you have one service wire connected to each end "tombstone" (bulb retainer), unless your wires are connected to the proper side of each "tombstone" on each end, you may not close the circuit and the bulb may not light up--don't assume the bulb is faulty. I recommend that you remove the tombstones from the fixture (they usually just slide off) and temporarily wire them to an old power cord (don't plug it in until you're ready to test the wiring), then attach the tombstones to the new bulbs. After making sure all conducting parts (uninsulated wiring, etc.) are safely away from any conducting material (including flooring), plug the power cord into a wall outlet. If all the bulbs do not light up, unplug the power cord and reroute the tombstone wiring or use "jumpers" to supply electricity to the unpowered sides of the tombstones. Then plug the temporary power cord in and try again. Once all LED tubes light properly, be sure to secure the tombstone bulb clips into the fixture in the same correct orientation. DO NOT handle the disassembled fixture parts while the temporary power cord is still plugged into the electrical outlet! BE CAREFUL! Don't let fiddling with the light fixture's "tombstones" lead to you earning a tombstone of your own! ;)

These are BRIGHT!
Rewired a 4 tube light over a work bench. This particular light was wired with 2 switches with each switch controlling 2 tube's. When I rewired bypassing the balasts I kept the same 2 switch arrangement. I replaced all of the tombstones and wired it so that all contacts on one end are line voltage and all contacts on the opposite end are neutral. Works wonderfully. With all 4 led tubes on it is the brightest work bench ever. Will be wonderful for working on things with tiny parts. Very happy with this purchase.

Great lighting but….
The manufacturer did not implement a function to compensate for light housings that have the tombstone's (device’s that the bulb secures to) installed at 45 degree angles. Now when you twist the light in until it is completely secured, the light is angled 45 degrees up and it restricts the amount of light projected towards the area desired. Other than that the instructions for bypassing the ballast were great and the lights are bright.

I would not recommend this product to anyone
I would not recommend this product to anyone; I don’t know where they are getting these ratings?I recommend for Amazon USA at list not to permit to sell these products, until the vendor improves his quality inspection. He must device a system to test each light bulb to see if operates properly. Also, he must improve the packaging to prevent damage in transportation. He must include a detailed installation procedures in each bulb if sold individually or in a box if it’s sold in package form. This what happened and that is why I am writing this report/complaint, (by the way I hold Amazon responsible not the vendor becouse I purchased this from Amazon don’t know the vendor and the reason I purchased from Amazon I am hoping that what I get is in the standards that US customers are used to.I start the installation of this bulbs to my customers office (this is his only source of lighting in his office).I ask him to give an hour to install these bulbs and do the modification into the fixture.Proceed to remove the old ballast and connect all the wiring close the electrical trough in the fixture. This work did not take too long, after that I installed the first bulb and turn the switch on so I can see and not depend to my work lightThe bulb did not work I thought I did something wrong I open everything test the wiring and check the voltage and everything look good.I decided to bench test the bulb to fine out the bulb did not work. Then proceed to test all the other three bulbs to fine out that all three remain the bulbs worked.Proceed to install the three bulbs and ask some one to fine what was the procedure to replace the one bulb.As I was installing the three bulbs the first one, I got in my hand I realized the one side of the pins were loose after further inspection I found out the plastic base where the pins are attached was broking. Now I have two good bulbs left and I had to let the owner do his work I had to give him some light to work with.I install the two good bulbs so the owner can use his office.I took the broken bulb outside to the bench and with the help of a technician using super glue we glued the plastic that hold the pins. After half hour I was able to install the third bulb. And thank God I did that becouse I found out that Amazon would not replace one bulb only they need back all the four bulbs.I could not do that becouse the light fixture was already altered to except this LED bulbs that meant that this man could not use his office until we get the replacement bulbs and that was not acceptable.I proceed to trouble shoot the bead bulb to find out what was wrong with it.To my surprise I found the (+) and (-) wire coming from the electronics board were boking inside the insulation. After we replace the two wires the bulb worked.I proceed to install the bulb.A maximum 1-hour work turned to be 5-hour of work, with potential buying four more bulbs and returning these four more wastes of time.If the vendor did do his do diligent and test every single bulb, I would not have waits time and more to weighting this Complaint.

Nice and bright
Easy to follow modification of wiring. Brighter than the led bulbs that were working with the ballast.

Extremely bright, Easy instal
These 4 foot t8 led tubes are very bright !! It’s a nice white light , flick the switch and instant on! No more slow starts and even slower starts in winter !!! Wiring was simple , just remove the ballast and ground to one side and neutral to the other , I replaced two quad tube fixtures, even with just two led T8 installed was brighter than the 4 fluorescent’s, I ordered a pack of 12 and unfortunately had two that flickered and that was it , I’ve contacted the seller and waiting to see what they tell me , otherwise I would have given a 5 star review, next iam going to replace my 8foot fluorescents , as I have 3 that are on the way out ! Take my advice and buy these you won’t be disappointed

They works great.
They are amazing for the price. Quality is great and after eliminating the ballast installation is fast. I removed my fixtures and then removed the ballast on my first batch in the shop, the second batch I left the ballast in to save time. The fixtures are plugin type and had to move the wire inward to connect to end receptacles, not a big job but so much happier removing the florescent tubs that burned out and hummed. No sound with lights.

Great conversions!
I bought these for our basement and converted the fixtures myself. Very easy to install, just follow the instructions! The brightness is excellent! No more delay in starting or humming lights! You might need some help with the conversion, but only if you are not at all handy. It's really quite simple, and the results are awesome! I would wholeheartedly recommend these lights!
