If you are on the fence, just buy it. My cats LOVE their new catio. In the morning, they wait by the window for me to open it. At night, I struggle to get them back inside. This took a few days to put together, but only because I modified it quite a bit to change the tower height so it would fit my window better. Otherwise it would have taken about 30 min to assemble.

I have an 18lb tuxedo who loves being outside. This catio has been a game changer for him, he loves being outside but I want to keep him safe also. It’s very sturdy and assembly took 2 of us and about 3 hours of our time. Well worth the investment and time spent putting together, he spends hours outside now, safely! Has plenty of room to add another cat or two 😊

Having multiple doors top and bottom and middle helps with feeding and water as well as animals getting in and out. While the cubby is small, the scratching post is good size and kitties really like this feature best. It also goes together quickly and can be moved around easier than larger enclosures. Ordering a second enclosure since not all cats get along.

I absolutely love it! Never knew this existed until I bought my home and had to transition my outdoor cats to the new place. It’s spacious enough for 3 adult cats. I was under the impression that after the transition phase I’d get rid of the catio, but they literally love it! It’s their own little outdoor home. The doors are now permanently opened and it’s comforting to know they will have a safe place rather than under my shed lol

Very easy to assemble. We use it for our bird as it seemed cheaper than buying this size bird cage. We love it.

Purchased as an indoor safety enclosure for our fennec fox when we aren't able to keep an eye on her at night. The wood is rough, splintering in some areas and the paint quality is horrible see through and has many scuffs on it so I'll be sanding and repainting this. One thing I don't like in this design is that the top floor is completely inaccessible to us if it needs cleaning or if we need to take her out of it so I'll have to add some kind of hinges to the roof so it can lift open or cut some kind of access door in the side. There were two panels that had the screw holes drilled in the wrong side and I had to drill out some new ones in the correct spaces. It took myself, my husband and my brother the whole afternoon to build together. I definitely couldn't have held up the panels and screwed them together myself. Staples were missing on the wire edges so I had to add a few more myself as well. The windows have plastic protector films on both sides that was secured underneath the wood window frames that would not come out cleanly. I had to use a blade along the edge and even then I still couldn't remove all of it. Overall it is fine and works as intended but needs extra work and tools to get it built and looking nice. If you don't have a drill and stapler to fix some of these issues then I would advise against purchasing this.
