It's probably the smoothest reel I've ever experienced!
Our fishing season has finally opened but I haven't been out due to massive smoke from forest fires. I did load it with a large amount of 10 lb test monofilament and it took it very quickly and easily. I couldn't get over how fast it spooled. It has a very high gear ratio. I was pleasantly surprised it had a "no reverse" feature that assisted in spooling the line. It arrived on time and was well-packed. It's light in weight and came with an extra spool. So far I'm pleased with it and plan to buy another. I'll update after field-testing it!

Well made but found a couple of rough edges on the back. Haven't used yet hence 4 stars.

Great quality and solid build
Really pleased with this viper x reel. Set up was very easy and the product has a great quality feel to it. No issues during the first few trips with it and looking forward to lots more to come

Great little reel! Ideal for ultralight fishing. Smooth retrieve and lightweight. All in all a high quality reel. Strongly recommended.
