A very primal experience
I had a very primal experience with these grains. I milled them in my vitamix and then made bread, and when I ate the first bite, I started crying. I felt so connected to my food source, in a way that has been very much lacking in this modern age where we deal with spreadsheets and then food appears in a bag from the store. The grains are amazingly clean and dust-free. I wish they were a bit cheaper, but they are worth it for the nutrition of ALL the parts of the grain (bran, germ, and endosperm) and the enzymes and vitamins that only exist when it is milled fresh. Note that my photo is of the 5lb bag that I purchased previously, not the 18lb bag that this review is for. I really like the rustic burlap sack of the 5lb bag. Note that for making bread, you may have to knead it MUCH longer than all-purpose flour — look up videos of making bread with fresh-milled flour. I’m very happy with these grains.

Works great!
Perfect! It grinds the wheat berries into a fine flour pretty fast! It takes less time than driving to my store to buy flour. I have to add extra to make cookies or bread but the flavor is amazing.

Must Have for My African Goose.... because she Says So!
Purchased for my goose during the winter. She was hesitant at first, but she eventually started to like it and now DEMANDS it every morning before her feed, in her special dish. It's hilarious. Will be buying again for her to have as a snack during the summer.
