Seems very well made
I bought this for an older, side address condenser mic that has a yoke. The clearance between the yoke and the XLR jack is VERY tight and no other XLR plug that I tried would fit. This one does fit! Unfortunately, due to the orientation of the jack on my mic, this cable stuck out the front of the mic yoke. There are 2 small Philips screws holding this plug together. So by releasing the 2 screws you can disassemble the plug. I did this and was able to flip the orientation of the plug to make the cable come out of the back of the mic yoke. It’s not a difficult job, but a little fiddly. If you do this, go gently with twisting the wires around and make sure you have a DMM or some other means to test the continuity of the wires. Of course, test the continuity before you reassemble the plug because the last thing you want is to completely reassemble it then find out it doesn’t work because you broke a wire. You’d be smart to have a soldering iron and appropriate solder around to repair any wires you break too. Don’t fear. I was able to reverse the plug without breaking any wires. This cable is quite stout and high quality. I haven’t been able to test the sound quality yet, but I’m optimistic. If it sounds as good as it looks, I’ll probably buy a few more lengths and colors.

Good quality and very durable.
These mic cables get your cable out of the way, the feel and build is solid and the cable boots feel very good. The mic engagement clicks and holds a number of microphones very securely. I am very pleased with this purchase and went and purchased 3 additional cables due to their quality.

Works!
I’m a DJ and have a slanted case that holds my mixer on top and space for my amp underneath the mixer. I was keeping the amp and mixer connected with longer, 20’ xlr cables but these cables took up a lot of space in the case. I’ve been using these shorter xlr cables with the elbow connections and they work great. I’ve got more room in the back of the case for storage, my rig looks neater.

I want a higher end version, and I'll pay more
(Video Pending) The Good Everything, it's the right price for what you get. This product at it's current price is great and there is almost no issues with it! The right angle is adjustable with a screwdriver, the fact that it has a right angle and I can pick a color is great! The "I want" Although, the biggest issue I come across is the DIY and plastic feel I get from some of the parts. Inspecting the ends of the cable I noticed that the nubs to protect the cable are made of plastic and fastened down with plastic fasteners which can easily skip a tooth or break and I honestly find that to worsen the product's feel, it's not serious but I really want high end cables and I would pay for it, hell I'd even help design the damn thing for free (I do cad). I also inspected the insides of the ends of the cable because I wanted to see if any shortcuts were taken, and to my limited knowledge I'd say it looks fine and standard but isn't going to beat any high-end professional cable, though it seemed lacking in insulation around the wires terminations into the plug and I could see with enough use it becoming a problem. I also was hoping for a 90 degree to 90 degree cable for a much lower profile than it currently has to really streamline my mic setup.

Excellent (SHORT) XLR Cable
See the photo. I just needed to go from an XLR output to another XLR input close by. The problem was that the output XLR needed to be at an exact orientation to work in my system. That problem is solved by the fact that you can use the provided ALLEN wrench to orient the XLR to match whatever the situation presents. Two minutes and voila! perfect match. Highly recommend this Short XLR adjustable cable for your audio wiring solutions.

Works great
I needed a short right-angle to better fit my new mic (Heil PR30) on my mic arm (Rode PSA1). My regular cord stuck way out and felt like it was causing some sideways strain. This right-angle cable fit the bill and so far has worked flawlessly. XLR connectors are metal with rubber strain relief, and the cable is soft and pliable.

Needs constant maintenance &. Asking loosens up = disconnect.
I have purchased 8 Coluber Cables. I like the cabling & colors. But three things: 1). the screws loosen up & I,ve lost quite a few screws, so I’ve used Locktite on the screws. 2). the white plastic strain relief inside & the black exterior collar’s thread strips, and 3). most concerning is the 90-degree xlr metal casing fit to amic loosens up to the point that the signal disconnects. I can’t have that during a show . I hate to report this negative review, but I find no warranty info for customer service either.

Poorly made
Purchased to connect shotgun mic to camcorder- the female coupling side is extremely loose, tightened 2 screws that hold in place but still rattles like something is loose inside, mic picks up the sound. Sure enough, the design inside the female xlr connection is a plastic piece that just rattles along inside. Poor build, poor design, returned item for another brand.
