Due to complications of child birth, I got Chronic DVT in my left leg in1980. I have been wearing a very tight compression stocking since and haven't had any problems. Well, I just recently got a complete tear of the rotator cuff in my right arm and can't pull up my stocking. I have since been dealing with extreme swelling in my left foot and ankle. It is painful and zaps my energy. I was desperate to find a way to put on my stocking again. When I found this compression stocking AID I couldn't order it fast enough. Wow, this device is incredibly effective! It allows me to put on my stocking before I get out of bed (so swelling doesn't start) and with the help of the donning gloves, it is so easy I can do it without help. It is a little pricey but well worth the money if you have a problem like me. I am so thankful for this product and would highly recommend it to anyone needing help putting on a compression stocking.

Purchased this item after something like it was recommended by person day caring my 95 yr old mother. This really works well. Saves the aggravation to the wearer and person putting the stockings on the wearer as it saves time and possible scratch injury to the foot or ankle if trying to wrestle stocking on with out this. Expensive but well made and again, a time saver.when putting on the stockings.

It's a little tricky to figure best way to use but much easier putting on compression socks. Been using for awhile, no complaints. Holding up well.

Yes, it made putting hose on somewhat easier but still cumbersome. And I was shocked at the material for how expensive it is. For that price you should at least get 2.

During the past few months it has been necessary for me to ware compression socks. And during that time, I tried several devices for application assistance. I had a nurse mention that she had seen a goofy looking thing that would easily help slide on compression socks, especially thigh-highs.Yep, it is a strange fabric funnel looking thing.... but is worth every every penny.For those of you that struggle to get your compression socks on... this "Easy Slide" device is a winner. Expensive, but a winner.... mission accomplished

The open toe stocking donner works great! You can slide your stocking on (I use donning gloves) instead of pulling and tugging.If you cannot bend your legs, or bend toward your legs, you will need some help placing the donner, and then stocking, on your foot (and probably for pulling it off.)The stocking slides on with ease, and with gloves the stocking can be pulled up over the heel easily. Pulling the donner off is a breeze with a steady firm pull. I put a little mark in the center of the heel of the stocking to make sure all is in place as it should be before removing donner.

It was bought for a post hip surgery for Ted Hose. It worked for the most part but may have been a little hard to use.
