While I was shopping for hinges for my kitchen cabinets, I thought I had clicked on and purchased soft closing hinges. When I got these, I realized that they were self closing. They work as they have been described. They also come in brushed nickel, black or gold. Installation is super easy. I use a drill with a screw driver bit on low. I did have to get shorter screws that go into the cabinet due to the ones that came with the hinges were too long and went through my cabinet door. I just added felt dots to the inside of my cabinet door and the self closing hinges are great.

These were the least expensive nickel plated hinges I could find. They look absolutely fantastic on my new kitchen cabinets with my new quartz countertop. Don’t be afraid to go with a lesser expensive item on this hinge.

Good material; color blends with my older hinges which broke. Easily installable on bathroom cabinet doors. Has automatic closing mechanism when the door is ajar by 20-30 degrees - a slight push and it closes.
