Well, I admit I was a bit skeptical about this, having given up on lead acid jump starters long ago. But, only having one vehicle and it being a cold winter here in Maine, decided to give this a try (the nice pre-Christmas sale price helped my decision). Two weeks in, it's been used once, and saved me getting dressed and going down the stairs into the snow at night to jump-start my handyman whose car has on-going charging issues. He trooped upstairs when it was time to leave asking for a jump. I pointed him towards this, which I'd chucked into the backseat of my Jeep. The punch line is that he came back up in a few minutes declaring that he was going to buy one of these. Car started instantly and the charge is still at 100%. This device seems well made and certainly does what it purports to do. The carry case is nice and holds everything securely. It does take a while for the initial charge, IIRC correctly, it was about three hours using a 12W iPad charger. A bigger charger would likely speed this up, but according to the instructions, it only needs a top-off every three months or so which shouldn't take as long. We'll see about that. At the end of the day, I do recommend this device and I think you'll be pleased with it.

Bought this for could winter nights here in Wisconsin after way to many mornings of my car not starting despite buying a battery last year with the highest cranking amps. I was not sure how well this would do as I have never used a jump box. Let me tell you this little box has saved my mornings. I haven't even had it a week and had to use it three times. I clamped the clamps on the battery, plugged it in and my car started right up. The first time I used it the battery went from 100% down to 69%. I was a little worried because you're supposed to be able to use it about 20 times before having to charge it. I brought it in and charged it back to 100% . The next time I used it it only went down to 99% so I am happy that it will at least last a few times before having to charge it. The quality of this little box really surprised me. If you are on the fence about this purchase I say do not wait. Get one now. You will not be disappointed. And what a steal for $44 instead of $129. I was so pleased I bought my daughter one so she's would never be stuck anywhere due to the cold when her and my grandbaby are out and about. It comes in a nice zipable case with a charging cord but you do need to buy a charging block. It recommends a 5.0 charging block. Some blocks are only 2. Something.

I have jumped our ford transit work van (4 cylinder) about 6 times without charging the battery pack and it's still over 50 percent. It starts the van up with 0 hesitation, no issues at all. I haven't tried jumping anything bigger with it yet but I'm sure it will do just fine. I've had this battery pack sitting in my truck all winter long and it maintained 100% charge for many months of sitting. Very affordable . These make a great Christmas gift to just about anyone. It is surprisingly compact and is much smaller than some other ones I have had in the past.

This is an absolutely great tool and reasonably middle priced. Extremely easy to use and works great!!!! Everyone with a car needs one of these on board in case of emergency . No more long frayed jumped cables and trying to find someone to jump me for me!!!!!!

This works well but it doesn't hold a charge as well as some others that I've had

I bought this jump starter for x-mas today was the first time I needed to use it and it failed it did nothing it says 100% charge after charging for 40hrs. the starter clicks the same with out hook-up as with jump-start connected. I have an older DBPOWER G15 2500A and it started the car great I retried the new 5000A jump starter nothing worked tried the 2500a again started perfect. I do not think this jump starter works. To date I have purchased 5 DBPOWER jump starters for all my family I hope some one will make good this bad unit. UPDATE review 3/15/26 the seller reached out to me and offered a refund I didn't want a refund because I like DBPOWER jump starters and wanted another one which they sent me. As far as I'm concerned these jump starters are great and I've owned several over the years for my truck, car, boat. It's great insurance you'll be able to start anything if something goes wrong.

Works like a charm! Its nice to have in my vehicle and is very easy to use if you had a dead battery. Very easy to use and the padded case makes it easy to store. I bought a 2nd one to put in my other vehicle for peace of mind.
