They have that thick, chewy texture you expect from good Sanuki udon, and they hold up beautifully whether you use them in hot broth or stir-fry. The freshness makes a big difference compared to dried noodles. Cooking them is very simple. They only need a few minutes in boiling water and they are ready to go. I have paired them with miso broth, soy-based soups, and even just tossed them with sesame oil and vegetables, and they always turn out satisfying. The packaging is neat and keeps the noodles from clumping. Each pack feels like the right portion for a meal, which makes weeknight cooking easier. The shelf life is reasonable for fresh noodles, but I ended up using mine quickly because they were so versatile. Cook time is fast!

Great texture and clean taste. Easy/quick to cook and doesn’t break apart like other precooked noodles. Love that they have very few ingredients and not loaded with chemicals. I’ve ordered twice and will order more in the future.
