Worked well to keep my infant seat from getting all banged up when gate checking. This would also be good for storing the carseat. I didnt bring the carseat base so instead packed a full sleeve of diapers underneath the seat to reduce weight of checked luggage. Was able to leave the seat in the bag through security.

Had made traveling with a car seat SO much less stressful! With that being said, one with wheels would also be cool!

We’ve used this bag on multiple airline trips to keep our car seats clean and dry. It does have a little bit of padding which is nice, but I wouldn’t rely too heavily on it for total damage protection. This fit our Nuna Pipa RX with base and Costco Scenera (and we were able to fit a few extra items in at the last second that we didn’t need on the plane (sweaters, blankets, etc.)) We’ve always gate checked our car seats and so far the quality has held up.

Recently traveled a long flight with our 6 month old and her doona set to gate check. This JUST fits it. You have to put it in there perfectly but it does work. I liked this one because of the price for a padded cover. All the others don't really protect your bag. If you have a doona and want to make sure it doesn't get damaged when gate checking, get this!
