Toe fungus pens
Very easy to use. It is oderless. . You do have to let it dry. Takes about 15 to dry. My skin was a little red when I first applied it. It is working very well. It is a little expensive but it works great.

These work if you follow the instructions
These pens are wonderful. They’re easy to use and best of all THEY WORK. My husband had terrible fungus nails and we have tried for years to cure them. He even went to the podiatrist and took the dangerous pills, they worked but as soon as he stopped taking them months later, the FUNGUS RETURNED. Years passed and I found this product through my reading and ordered one pkg of three pens. Before the first pen was used up, the nails started showing improvement. We religiously used them morning and night for 6 months before we reduced our use to once a day after the evening shower where he scrubbed them each time with anti bacterial soap and a foot brush. A year later we still apply the pen’s medication every two weeks on the nails that may need a little to keep them clear and prevent any of the fungus from returning. Try these if you have terrible nails but know you have to be consistent with its use on a regular bases to get great results.

Seems to do the trick, but ..!
5 stars for now because I noticed improvements. Having toenail fungus for at least 2 decades. Started when I did a lot of endurance sports. Never tried before to cure it but nails started ingrowing plus it spread over time to most other toenails. Based on my literature research I found that Undecylenic Acid will do the trick and eliminate the fungus. Lunavia comprises 25% concentrated undecylenic acid. Fungi, however, typically grows in the nail bed and in between the different nail layers. Challenge being getting acid to the Fungi because Porosity / Permeability of the nails is too low to get sufficient acid through the nail. For that reason some Podiatrists drill a bunch of tiny holes through the nail. My plan of attack: (1) used an electrical pedicure drill to carefully grind down the nail thickness somewhat, (2) purchased Kerasal Fungul Nail Renewal which contains urea (soften Nails), Propylene Glycol (softens, helps penetrating through nail) and Lactic acid (exfoliates). Resulting that permeability increases significantly and therefore Lunavia ie the undecylenic acid can penetrate the nail. Alternatively, but I think less effectively and more time consuming, one can take a foot bath every time prior to applying Lunavia, which softens the nails and helps absorbing the topical. The latter is btw per their instructions. I apply Lunavia for several weeks now and added the Kerasal therapy only a few days ago but it looks like it improved nail appearance. For now I apply both twice daily. Promising so far (see clean, thinner nail growing out at base) but for sure it will take many months to get rid of it. Consistency required. In addition I purchased (1) Tolnaftate cream for Athletes foot to treat the areas between and below toes and (2) Hydrolyzed Collagen peptides tablets to improve nail growth rate (allegedly ca. 12%, but takes about 3 months to 'kick in') Average big Toenail growth is ca. 1.6mm/month (small toes slower) and slows down with age. Naturally, it takes a long time to get rid of the fungus affected nails. My trimmed big toenail is about 16mm long -> ~ 10 months to grow out, probably ~9 months with Collagen. 1st pen lasts already close to 1 month, thus estimated 9 pens to complete treatment. To complete the regime I disinfect socks and shoes 😅 Update on usage: In other reviews I noticed that pens don’t last that long (I’m still on 1st after 1 month). Every time I use it I check whether sufficient wetting of the nails. Typically, I only give it a few clicks, for sure not a full turn!) I expect a treatment period well over 12 months to achieve complete cure (fungus eradication). One doesn’t wat to stop treatment too early. Even when nail looks normal (clinical cured) some inactive/lingering fungal elements might still be present. My plan is do treat for a few additional months trying to prevent it from reoccurring. I bought 3 pens. Next time I probably get 6 pens bc more cost efficient. Shelf life of the ingredients seems to be at least 24 months (at adequate storage). Update 6/28: finished 2nd pen today (lasted ~1mo). Still apply twice/day in conjunction with Kerasal (once/day). Kerasal over time dissolved some Fungus affected thick part of nail (didn’t become sensitive), which I guess is desirable to deliver the Undecylenic acid to the nail bed. On some toes a normal appearing nail slowly grows out, but on others I don’t see that happening yet. Update 5/25: I looked some more into the problem of delivering the Undecylenic Acid to the nail bed by (1) increasing nail porosity and (2) lowering the surface tension (so that liquid is not sitting at the surface). Acc. to what I found, my best bet would be Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), which significantly improves nail hydration and induces a porous microstructure. I probably going to make myself a solution with SLS and (30% undecylenic acid). I'm kind of inpatient and the last thing I'm waiting for is to find out after many many months (and $) that it didn't eradicate the fungus.. Lit. (found via google) 'Effect of Penetration Enhancer on Drug Nail Permeability ...', Pharmaceutics 2018, Elena Cutrin-Gomez, et al. Will report on progress/improvements.

It doesn’t work
Update: seller stand behind their product and refunded me my money. I wanted to wait a little bit since ordering to give it the benefit of the doubt. I have been following the instructions step by step (wash, dry, apply and wait 30 minutes before putting any socks on, twice a day) for 2 months. It doesn’t work as marketed.

Lunavia making great progress
I’ve been using the Lunavia system for approximately 6 months. I’ve been able to reduce the yellow color of my nail bed which is now white/clear. I am continuing to grow out healthy nails. I recently received the 3pack pen set and thought the nail files and daily log included in the pack really added value to the program making it easier to use.
